Luzhou township is a township under the jurisdiction of Shanggao County, Yichun City, Jiangxi Province. It is located in the southwest of Shanggao County, with a total area of 78.39 square kilometers and 11 village committees including Jiangkou. The township government is located in Jiangkou. There are 8 kilometers of Shangfen highway and 7.5 kilometers of Wuji expressway. It is said that at the end of the Qing Dynasty, the residents of Luzhou, ruli and other places set up businesses here, and later evolved into market towns.
Historical evolution
Luzhou Township, formerly known as Jiangkou commune, is located in the southwest of the county seat. It was renamed Luzhou Township in October 1984 because of its duplicate name with Jiangkou in Yongfeng and Ganxian counties. The total area of the township is 80.76 square kilometers, 8 kilometers away from the county seat, 2 kilometers through the 3200 national highway, 8 kilometers through the Shangfen highway, 7.5 kilometers through the wuliling Industrial Park.
