Wuzhifeng Forest Farm

Wuzhifeng forest farm was founded at the end of 1957. Now it is under the leadership of Suichuan County People's government. It implements independent accounting. The general farm Department is located in Xixi Township, Suichuan County. It has five forest branches, namely Dali, wuzhifeng, Chuzhou, Qiling and Xixi, and enterprises such as Jinquan company, wood processing factory, tea factory and chemical factory Office and labor security office. Wuzhifeng forest farm is located in the southwest of Suichuan County, Jiangxi Province, at the south foot of the middle section of Luoxiao mountain. It is 27.8km wide from east to west and 34.1km long from south to north. It is adjacent to Jinggangshan in the north and Yanling and Guidong counties in Hunan Province in the West. The forest farm is 300-1400 meters above sea level, with a slope of 22-60 degrees. The soil in the mountain farm is mostly yellow red soil. The annual climate is mild, with abundant rainfall and sunshine. The four seasons are distinct, with long winter and summer, short spring and autumn, long frost free period and short frost period. The average annual rainfall is about 1700mm. The main types of forest stand are coniferous forest, mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forest, broad-leaved forest, bamboo forest and economic forest. In the second inventory of forest resources in 2002, the forest stands were divided into 21000 mu of water conservation forest, 168000 mu of soil and water conservation forest and 68000 mu of timber forest. The precious protected tree species mainly include Taxus chinensis var. mairei, hemlock Tsuga fortunei, Abies fargesii, Fokienia hodginsii, Ginkgo biloba, Cephalotaxus fortunei, Phoebe, Cinnamomum camphora, Liriodendron, etc.

Forest resources

The operating area of the whole mountain farm is 257000 mu (51000 mu in China, 206000 mu in joint venture, 255000 mu in forestry land, accounting for 99.9% of the operating area). According to the stand type, it is divided into 157000 Mu coniferous forest, 11000 Mu coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest, 73000 Mu broad-leaved forest, 24000 Mu bamboo forest and 2000 mu shrub forest. The volume of standing trees is 1.078 million cubic meters, and the forest coverage rate is 99.76%. Youxi River, the main tributary of Suichuan River, flows through yingpanwei, daijiapu, Qiling and Chuzhou.

Economic situation

Wuzhifeng forest farm has 27.16 million yuan of forest assets (direct cost of afforestation), 7.97 million yuan of fixed assets, 11.95 million yuan of current assets, 4.75 million yuan of annual sales revenue, 4.25 million yuan of annual total expenditure, and more than 200000 yuan of national taxes. by the end of 2006, the total debt was 32.055 million yuan, including 17.455 million yuan of bank debt, 2.554 million yuan of wages owed to employees, 6.478 million yuan of social security fees owed to counties, and 5.568 million yuan of other debts.

Construction

Wuzhifeng forest farm has built more than 160000 mu of pine, fir and broad-leaved timber forest from the early 1980s to the early 1990s in response to the call of the county Party committee and government to eliminate barren mountains. Now it is basically mature and has entered the period of thinning and harvesting. The average annual tending is 5000 mu, the forest road maintenance is 90000 meters, the forest road construction is 44 kilometers, the ecological fire forest belt is 148 kilometers, the fire line is 7 kilometers, and four lookout platforms are built. in order to make full use of the favorable policies of the state-owned forest farm reform, the forest farm is based on the positioning of ecological public welfare forest farm. In 2002, the national key public welfare forest is 105000 mu, in 2006, the national key public welfare forest is 27000 mu, the provincial public welfare forest is 16000 mu, and the municipal public welfare forest is 22000 mu.
