Longhe town
Longhe Town, belonging to Nehe City, Qiqihar City, Heilongjiang Province, is located in the east of Nehe city and the North Bank of nemoer river. It is adjacent to Tuanjie Township of Wudalianchi city in the East, Jiujing town across the river in the south, kongguo Township in the West and ilaha town of Nenjiang County in the north. It is 42km away from Nehe City, with a total administrative area of 432.86km2.
In 1649, wumadi, the leader of the gol clan of the Dagar nationality, led the people to set up 20 tribes in the area where Longhe town was located, including tabenqin, wudutai and horji. In April 1984, the friendly commune was changed into Longhe town. By the end of 2018, the population of dragon river town registered residence was 42857. In 2019, Longhe town governs one community and 13 administrative villages, and the people's government is located in Dongbei street of Longhe town.

History of construction

In 1919, longhetun was established as the Fifth District. In 1931, the Northeast was occupied, and Longhe police station was set up in Longhe town. In 1938, Longhe village was changed. In April 1946, it was renamed the Fifth District.

In April 1956, it was divided into three townships: Longhe, Baoan and Youhao.
In September 1958, the three townships were merged into Dongfeng commune.
In 1959, it was renamed Longhe commune.
In August 1966, a friendly commune was set up in the northern part of the country.
In April 1984, it was changed to Longhe town.
In March 2005, Youhao township was merged into Longhe town.

Name and origin
Longhe town is named after Longhe village. Longhetun, formerly known as tabenzin, means "Five" in dahar.
Historical Site
The "mangnai ancient tombs" on the Hougang slope of canchangtun, Baoan village in the east of Longhe town are the graves of kuober family of Daur nationality in Qing Dynasty. There are 11 general tombs in total, so mangnaitun is also called "general Tun".
