Geping Township

Geping township is located in the northwest of Xiajiang County, Jiangxi Province. Geping village is 36 kilometers away from the waterfront of the county, connecting Renhe Town in the East, Baqiu town in the south, Yanxi town in the West and Xinyu City in the north. It covers an area of 78.11 square kilometers. It has jurisdiction over six village committees, including Geping, Fangzhou, Xiaokeng, Tingxi, shelong and Baisha. There are 60 villager groups. The resident population was 7243 (2017).
