Sanxianling Forest Farm

Sanxianling forest farm is one of the northernmost forest farms in Guixi City. It is located at the junction of Yiyang, Wannian and Guixi counties, and is the Eastern Branch of Huaiyu. Therefore, it is named "sanxianling". It is 35 kilometers away from the city. The climate here is wet and humid, the red soil is fertile, the vegetation is various, and the wildlife is rich.

Evolution of organizational system

Today, sanxianling forest farm in Guixi City is named after the mountain watershed of Guixi, Wannian and Yiyang. During the period of the Republic of China, sanxianling Forest Farm belonged to the fifth protection of Pu'an Township, Sili District, Guixi county. After the birth of the people's Republic of China, it was changed into gugang Township, Shenqian District, Guixi County in 1950; it was changed into Peiyuan and gugang brigade of Zhoufang commune in 1958. In the same year, the first batch of more than 70 retired soldiers were assigned to sanxianling to establish a paper mill (a welfare factory under the jurisdiction of Guixi County Civil Affairs Bureau at that time); in the first half of 1960, it was separated from Zhoufang commune to establish sanxianling reclamation farm (now lijiamen branch) In the second half of 1960, it was merged into Zhoufang reclamation farm (located in Sanya village, Zhoufang town today); in December 1970, Zhoufang reclamation farm was abolished, and the former sanxianling reclamation farm area was merged into Baitian commune, and the former Zhoufang reclamation farm area was merged into Zhoufang commune; in early 1973, it was separated from the former Baitian commune and Zhoufang commune, and sanxianling reclamation farm (located in today's Peiyuan branch) was restored, with jurisdiction over lijiamen, daheyuan and Yangyang Qiangang, comprehensive processing plant, Jingwu power station and Hengling, Peiyuan, Shanghuang, gugang four teams. In April 1975, sanxianling reclamation site was moved to zhongyuangang; in March 1984, Hengling, Peiyuan, Shanghuang, gugang four teams were set up in Guixi County, three counties and Ling Township, two brands of field and township, one set of people, CO office; in April 1987, sanxianling reclamation site It was renamed sanxianling Yinglin forest farm, and sanxianling township was renamed gugang township. It has a subtropical warm climate with four distinct seasons, abundant sunlight, abundant rainfall and long frost free period.
