Yangzi Town, named after Yang ziqiao, is located in the south of Pengze County, Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. It is adjacent to Qingshan Township, Dongzhi County, Chizhou City, Anhui Province in the East, xiejiatan town and Xiaoling Township, Poyang County, Shangrao City in the south, Dagang Town, Duchang County, Tianhong Township and taipingguan Township in the west, and Shangshiling reclamation farm in the north. Historical evolution
Yangzi is named after Yangzi bridge. On the eve of liberation, it belongs to Yong'an township. At the beginning of liberation, it belonged to five districts (Yangzi District), including Xifeng, Longxi, Yangzi, Hongqi, LiNbO, Lufeng, etc. In 1956, it became Yangzi Township with 34 junior societies.
