Cuigang town
Cuigang town is located in the northern part of the new forest area in Daxing'anling region of Heilongjiang Province. It is adjacent to Xinlin town in the East, bizhou town in the south, targen town in the West and northwest, and Tahe County in the north. In 2018, the area was 1599.33 square kilometers, and the registered residence was 5720.
In 1958, Cuigang forest farm was built. In 1965, it belonged to Xinlin Forestry Company. In 1967, it was changed into Cuigang commune, belonging to the new forest area (Forestry Bureau). In 1981, it was changed to Cuigang forest farm. In April 1987, Cuigang town was set up to implement the "government enterprise integration" with the forest farm.
In October 2019, Cuigang town governs a community in Cuigang.
