Guanyang town
Guanyang Town, belonging to Fuding City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Fuding City and the intersection of three counties and cities (Fuding, Zherong and Taishun) on the border of Fujian and Zhejiang. It is adjacent to Tongcheng street in the East, Zherong County in the west, nodou town in the south, Taishun County and Dieshi Township in Zhejiang Province in the north. Its total area is 196.48 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of Guan Yang town was 45589.
Guanyang town is said to be inhabited by many storks in ancient times, so it is named Guanyang. The stream is named guanxi, and the mountain is named guanniaoshan. Because of the homophony of "stork" and "Guan", it is generally called Guanyang. During the period of the Republic of China, "Yang" was changed to "Yang". In 1983, it was restored to Guanyang district. In 1987, it was changed to Guanyang township. In February 1993, the township was set up. As of June 2020, Guanyang town has a total of 27 villagers' committees.

Historical evolution
Guanyang town was the 23rd capital of yaoxiangli, Quanru Township, Funing Prefecture in the early Qing Dynasty, and the 16th capital of Fuding County after Fuding county was established.
The first year of the Republic of China (1912) was Guanyang district.
In June 1949, Guanyang belonged to nodou district.
In June 1950, Guanyang district was set up.
In August 1958, Guanyang commune was established.
In June 1961, Guanyang district was restored.
In August 1968, Guanyang commune was established.
In 1983, it was restored to Guanyang district.
In 1987, it was changed to Guanyang township.
