Shekou town
Shekou Town, belonging to Fu'an City, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the northwest of Fu'an City, adjacent to Tantou town and Chengyang town in the East, Banzhong and Muyun she townships in the south, Xiaoyang town in the West and Wuqu town in Shouning County in the north. The maximum distance from east to west is 13.23 kilometers, and the maximum distance from north to south is 99 kilometers, with a total area of 92.62 square kilometers. In 2018, the registered residence of the town was 25158.
In ancient times, Shekou town was a Polder and an important traffic road. It was also called "Shikou" because there were many temples in the original backdoor mountain, and it was called "Shekou" in the near sound. In 1968, it was changed into a commune. In September 1984, Shekou commune was changed to township. In September 1992, Shekou township was transformed into a town. As of June 2020, Shekou town has a total of 24 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 35 industrial enterprises in Shekou Town, including 7 above scale enterprises and 1 comprehensive store or supermarket with a business area of more than 50 square meters.
