Makeng Township
Makeng Township, belonging to Zhouning County, Ningde City, Fujian Province, is located in the southeast of Zhouning County, adjacent to Chixi Town, Jiaocheng District in the southeast, Xiancun Town and Qibu town in the southwest and northwest, and Kangcuo Township and Xitan town in Fu'an City in the northeast. Its total area is 74.81 square kilometers. In late 2018, the registered residence of Ma Keng township was 13086.
Ma Keng township was originally Ma Kaiji, known as Ma Xi. Later, because Ma moved to another place, Tang moved in, in order to show the difference, it was renamed Ma Keng. In August 1961, Ma Keng commune was demolished from Xiancun commune. In March 1963, it was incorporated into Xiancun district again. In 1966, Ma Keng commune was reestablished. In 1984, she was removed to build a township and Makeng township was set up. As of June 2020, Makeng township has a total of 15 administrative villages.
In 2018, there were 45 industrial enterprises in Makeng Township, including one above scale and five comprehensive stores or supermarkets with a business area of more than 50 square meters.

Ming Dynasty belongs to the 14th and 15th capitals of dongyangli, Qingtian Township, Ningde county.
In the Republic of China, it was called Xianshan township. In 1948, Xianshan township was under the jurisdiction of Zhouning county.
In April 1950, it belonged to the third district of Zhouning county (later called Xiancun District).
In 1958, two townships, Makeng and Shenyang, were established; in September, they were renamed communes.
In January 1959, it was incorporated into Xiancun commune.
In August 1961, Ma Keng commune was demolished from Xiancun commune.
In March 1963, it was incorporated into Xiancun district again.
