Longcun Township
Longcun township (118 ° 15 ′ 33 ″ e, 27 ° 28 ′ 57 ″ n) is 510 meters above sea level. There are many mountains in the township, which is an extension of Wuyi Mountains. Qingtianyan, one of the four "pillars" of Jian'ou City, is located in qingtianyan village in the north of the township, with an altitude of 1222 meters. The peak stands abruptly and points to the sky, which is named after qingtianyan.
The villages are scattered, mostly located on the hillsides and small valleys with an altitude of 500-800 meters. It is a forest and grain production area in the north of Jian'ou city. It is cool in summer, cold in winter and large temperature difference between day and night all year round, which is very conducive to the cultivation of high quality and high yield of crops and the development of off-season planting and breeding industry. Underground deposits of iron, manganese, lead and zinc, granite, baiguitu and other minerals.

General situation of villages and towns
Longcun township is located in the north of Jian'ou City, at the junction of Jian'ou, Jianyang and Zhenghe. It is a provincial revolutionary base township. It has 12 administrative villages and 49 natural villages, including Longcun, Biandi, xiashanxi, Wudi, Dali, xiaodongyou, Liping, qingtianyan, Longxi, Huangling, Liangqian and yangkeng. In 2005, there were 86 villager groups.
Located in the north of Jian'ou City, Longcun township is an old revolutionary base area, a high mountain area, and a remote township. It governs 12 villages with an average altitude of 609 meters, and the highest peak, qingtianyan, is 1222 meters above sea level.
Characteristic agriculture is highlighted. It focuses on cultivating three leading industries of bamboo, hazelnut and mushroom, and is known as the "hometown of bamboo", "hometown of tribute hazelnut" and "national advanced township of edible fungi". We will vigorously develop characteristic industries such as high mountain Yunwu Tea, off-season vegetables and Zhushan chicken and sheep, and actively promote the process of agricultural industrialization.
Infrastructure is constantly improving. A total of 53.3 km of roads have been hardened in the township, 2 waiting booths have been built, 1 market town waterworks and 10 village level rural water supply projects have been built and put into use. The whole township has realized the interconnection of electric power, with sufficient electric power. The annual generating capacity is 11 million kwh, which is five times of the consumption of 2.2 million kwh. The supply exceeds the demand, and there is no power restriction or blackout for many years. Closed circuit television and distance control telephone have been realized in every village. Nine Gaoshan mobile base stations, three PHS base stations and three Unicom base stations have been built, and the coverage of mobile phone signal has been further expanded.
Social stability and harmony. We have been awarded "safe Nanping" by Nanping Municipal Party committee and municipal government to build a safe Township, "advanced collective of comprehensive management of social security" by Jian'ou municipal Party committee and municipal government, and "advanced unit of creating safe production qualified township (street) activities" by Jian'ou municipal government. Strengthening the construction of integrity, Nanping City was named "credit township.".

Historical evolution
Since the Song Dynasty, xixianli has been set up. In the Ming and Qing Dynasties, xixianli was divided into upper, middle and lower xixianli. Today, Longcun Township covers about half of the area of xixianli, so it is called "Xixiang" in history. In 1939, the administrative township was established under the jurisdiction of Shuiji special district of Jian'ou county. From 1949 to 1956, it was under the jurisdiction of Xiaqian district (Second District) of Shuiji county. It was under the jurisdiction of Wudi, Longcun, Xincun (now qingtianyan), Liping, Huangling, Qianlan, Longxi and other seven townships (now village level system). In 1956, Shuiji county was abolished and Longcun township was incorporated into Jian'ou county. In 1958, Shancheng people's commune was established and renamed in May 1961 Longcun people's commune was changed from commune to Township People's Government in June 1984, with no change in zoning. Most of the residents in this township are Han nationality, and a few are She nationality. The early residents were immigrants from the Central Plains of the Tang Dynasty, and immigrants from Zhejiang and Jiangxi successively moved in during the Ming and Qing Dynasties. The residents surnamed Zhou in Hengkeng village are descendants of Zhou Dunyi, a famous scholar in Song Dynasty.

1. In 1989, the total length of highways in the township was 138.8 kilometers, all of which were gravel roads, including 9 kilometers of county roads, 65 kilometers of township roads and 64.8 kilometers of village roads. There are five out of town roads: 9 km long village to Komatsu line, 10.5 km long village to Dongfeng line, 22.6 km long village to Komatsu Huangkou line, 16 km long village to Jianyang jiangjunping line, and 12.9 km long village to CHUANSHI line. In November 2001, the asphalt pavement of Longcun Xiaosong 21 km highway with a total investment of 4.55 million yuan in three years was completed. In 2001, qingtianyan village opened a 3.3km highway from Pingxiao village to Zhouli village. In 2002, qingtianyan village opened a 3.5km highway from dafiandi natural village to kangtun natural village, and a 5km highway from Pingxiao natural village to Liping village. In 2003, Longxi village opened a 3.9 km road from Houyang natural village to Yinli natural village, Liping village opened a 3.4 km road from Liping to Zhouli natural village, Huangling village widened a 3.6 km road from Huangling to Pingshe natural village, and a 2.5 km road from Xiyuan natural village to Huangling. In 2004, yangkeng village widened the 4 km tractor road from pingyuzai natural village to yangkeng as a highway. In 2005, a 5km highway from Xincun to Dali was opened. Since 2003, the road surface hardening project of village highway has been implemented. By the end of 2005, 17.3 km of road surface hardening has been completed in Wudi, Shanxi, Longxi, Liping, Dali and Biandi, with a total investment of 8.65 million yuan. In 2005, all 49 villages in the township were connected with highways, with a total length of 173 kilometers.

By 1989, there were four hydropower stations in the township, namely Wu dijishang hydropower station, Liping hydropower station, Jixia hydropower station and Lanxi hydropower station, with a total installed capacity of 900 kW. Wu dijishang hydropower station is a "small two type" reservoir built in 1976, with a storage capacity of 22 cubic meters and an irrigation area of 34 hectares. The power consumption of the whole township is self supplied, with an annual power consumption of 300000 kwh. In May 2001, it took two years with a total investment of 5.76 million yuan to complete the erection of a 23km 35kV single circuit transmission line from Dongyou to Longcun, and the construction of a 35KV substation covering an area of 0.27 hectares with a main transformer capacity of 3150 KVA, realizing the power interconnection among cities, townships and villages. In July 2001, it took two years with a total investment of 3.07 million yuan to complete the transformation of the low-voltage power grid in the whole Township, realizing the goal of "two changes and one same price". In 2003, longjingtou hydropower station with an installed capacity of 125 kW, liming I Hydropower Station with an installed capacity of 640 kW and Longteng hydropower station with an installed capacity of 800 kW were built. In 2004, xiaodongyou hydropower station with an installed capacity of 300 kW, liming II hydropower station with an installed capacity of 640 kW and Changming hydropower station with an installed capacity of 300 kW were built. As of December 2005, 10 power stations have been built in the township, with a total investment of 20 million yuan. The total installed capacity has reached 3705 kW. The annual power generation is 9.5 million kwh, which is 4.3 times of 2.2 million kwh. The supply exceeds the demand, and there is no power restriction or blackout for many years. In 2005, nine standardized drinking water projects (including one at the township level and eight at the village level) have been completed, benefiting more than 10000 people.
3. In 1989, there were only 30 magnetite telephones in 12 villages. In January 1995, Longcun Township invested more than 1 million yuan to open a program-controlled telephone with optical cable lines, with more than 100 fixed telephones. In July 1998, Longcun Township invested more than 1 million yuan to open a digital mobile phone. By the end of 2005, we had 1941 fixed line telephones. In 2005, there were 4 mobile phone base stations in Gaoshan (yingziyan, qingtianyan, Liangqian, Liping), 1 Unicom base station, 5 PHS base stations, and program-controlled phones and mobile phones all over the world.

One junior middle school has 30 teachers and 544 students, and six primary schools have 86 teachers and 1256 students. The closed-circuit television network of 12 villages has realized the connection of closed-circuit television in every village, with the television population coverage rate of 93%; there are 14 medical centers and 39 Health technicians in the township. The township has evaluated 10 credit villages and 1385 credit users, with a total credit amount of 16 million yuan, and has been rated as "credit township" by Nanping City.
