Shifo town

Shifu Town, belonging to Maiji District, Tianshui, Gansu, is located in the north of Maiji District, east of Qingshui County, Sichuan Province, and Weinan town. It is adjacent to the town of Weinan and the north of the Yunshan Township, Qinan county. The area is 102.11 square kilometers, and the registered residence population is 42831.

In 1937, Shifo town was established. In 1950, it was divided into Shifo town (changed to township in 1951), Zaoyang Township and Wanyang township. In July 1961, there were three communes: Shifo commune, Zaoyang commune and wanyang commune. In 1971, it was renamed stone Buddha. In 1983, Shifo commune was transformed into a township.
