Yangdun Township
Yangdun township is located in the north of Shunchang County, 50 kilometers away from Chengguan, 25 kilometers away from 316 national highway, Shunyang highway runs through the territory, with convenient transportation. Under the jurisdiction of 10 administrative villages and 38 natural villages, as well as lumatou state-owned forest farm, township run Tianxi forest farm.
Yangdun township has many mountains, long water, hills and streams. Guoyan mountain, the highest mountain in the county at 1384 meters above sea level, is located in the southeast corner of the township.
Yangdun township is a subtropical marine climate, warm and humid, with an average annual temperature of 18 ℃, annual rainfall of about 1700mm, and a frost free period of 300 days. The pleasant climate is very suitable for the production of fruit, bamboo, fungus and other economic crops. Lentinus edodes, Auricularia auricula, Dictyophora, Agaricus blazei Murill and dried bamboo shoots are well-known local products.
It borders Jianyang, Jianou and Shaowu counties, and is adjacent to Lanxia Township, Pushang town and Renshou town. It has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, 28 natural villages, 57 villager groups, one Township Comprehensive Forest Farm and one state-owned forest farm. There are 497 party members in the township, which was rated as "provincial civilized village" in December 2006.
In 2017, the administrative area was 12900 hectares, with 7793 permanent residents.
Historical evolution
In the 13th year of Yongzheng reign of Qing Dynasty (1735 AD), Yangdun was under the jurisdiction of Shourong and Tianxi. After 1934, the district office was set up in Yangdun. After the communization in October 1958, the District Office naturally disappeared and the Yuejin people's commune was established. At this time, Yangdun was under the jurisdiction of Yuejin people's commune.
In July 1961, in order to implement the requirements of the regulations on the work of rural people's communes that "the scale of people's communes at all levels should be conducive to production, management and supervision by the masses", the county Party committee studied and decided to change the original five communes into twelve communes. So far, Yuejin people's commune was abolished and Yangdun commune was established. In July 1984, the government and the community were separated, the communes were changed into townships, the production teams into villagers' committees, and the production teams into villagers' groups.
Township transportation
The township has convenient transportation. The Xuda line of Zhanbei road runs across the township. The township is only 35 km away from the opening of Xuzhou City on the Punan Expressway in the north and 49 km away from Shunchang County. In December 2005, the township achieved the goal of "connecting every village with cement road".
Urban construction
Renshou river is rich in water resources. There are 10 hydropower stations with an installed capacity of 1100 kW. There are 2291 fixed telephones installed in the township. All the administrative villages along the highway realize mobile communication Signal coverage. Economic overview
By the end of 2007, the total output value of agriculture, forestry, animal husbandry and fishery in the township was 75.17 million yuan (including 37.8 million yuan of agricultural output value, 18.76 million yuan of forestry output value, 5.9 million yuan of animal husbandry output value and 6.85 million yuan of fishery output value), 12 million yuan of industrial output value and 16.05 million yuan of fixed assets investment. Five bases have been built to develop the rural economy in an all-round way. Citrus base: the orchard area is 23000 mu, the per capita area is 2 mu, the annual citrus output is 42000 tons, and the annual output value is more than 40 million yuan. 70% of the per capita income of farmers comes from the citrus industry. It is a well-known hometown of citrus. It has cultivated four major citrus brands, namely "Nanlu", "fushunfu", "Hongchang" and "Sanyou", as well as citrus sales enterprises, which have won high praise from customers inside and outside the province. In 2005, it was established in Shunchang County In the "woyuan Cup" high-quality citrus evaluation, it won two second prizes and two third prizes; large diameter wood base of Cunninghamia lanceolata: 500 mu large diameter wood base of Cunninghamia lanceolata, which is one of the three large diameter wood bases in our county; eel breeding base: the eel breeding area of the whole Township is 500 mu, with an annual output of 600 tons of commercial eel, with an output value of 20 million yuan; Chinese herbal medicine base: the first 1000 mu Yellow Gardenia base in the county, with an annual output of 500 tons of Yellow Gardenia; Spirulina cultivation and processing base: foreign capital of 25 million yuan was introduced to build a 500 mu Spirulina cultivation and processing base with an annual output value of 25 million yuan. By the end of 2007, the per capita net income of farmers in the township was 3686 yuan.
Architectural landscape
Yangdun township has a long history. The rural planning is reasonable, the living conditions of farmers have been improved in an all-round way, and new buildings have sprung up and arranged neatly along the streets. Hongdi new village of farmers' Villas has been built and awarded the title of "excellent residential district of provincial villages and towns" by the Provincial Department of construction.
Geography and climate
The climate of the township is superior. The township is a hilly area, the terrain inclines from East-West to north-south, and the south is relatively flat. It is one of the key forestry villages in the county, with broad prospects for comprehensive development of bamboo, wood and fungus resources.
It is rich in timber forests such as bamboo, fir and pine, as well as economic forests such as palm, tung oil tree, Camellia oleifera and camellia seed, and rare tree species such as Taxus, Phoebe and camphor. Agricultural and sideline products are very rich, mainly including citrus, lotus seeds, dried bamboo shoots, agaric, Castanea mollissima, Lentinus edodes, Dictyophora, Agaricus blazei, etc.; mineral resources are rich, mainly including fluorite, coal, granite, silver, copper, aluminum and zinc. The township is also one of the commodity grain bases in Shunchang County.

The cultural and educational undertakings are also progressing day by day, with a cultural center building with a construction area of 760 square meters; the medical and health facilities are relatively perfect, and the township health center has 16 employees; the educational infrastructure is supporting, there is a middle school, a six-year primary school, and 139 primary and secondary school teachers, including 55 senior professional titles and 22 intermediate professional titles, and students can study nearby.
