Longjiao She nationality township is the only nationality township in Longhai District, Zhangzhou City, Fujian Province. Evolution of organizational system
At the end of the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Longjiao was located in Suian County, daoyi'an County, Lingnan, Guangzhou. In 592, sui'an county was merged into Longxi County of Nan'an County in central Fujian Province, and the gate of township government under Longxi County was under the jurisdiction of Longjiao. In the second year of Tang Dynasty (686), Jinpu county was established, and Longjiao was located in Zhangpu County. Song Qiande four years (966) Longjiao is Zhangpu Anren township. In the early Ming Dynasty, it belonged to Zhangpu County. In 1567, Haicheng county was established. In 1734, the land of Longjiao was under the jurisdiction of Haicheng county. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, the land of Longjiao was the lower half of Sha'ao, the East Road outside the city of Haicheng county.
In May 1936, it was the third district. In the 29th year of the Republic of China (1940), it belonged to Longjiao Township and Taiwu Township in the third district. Longjiao Township governs zashe, Zikeng, Zhenhai, Guantou, Youche, Xintang and Bitang, and Taiwu Township governs zhuoqiqian, zhuoqihou, Shenao, Shimei, jingnei, Qingyang and Huangkeng. In 1945, the district office was abolished, and Longjiao Township and Taiwu Township were merged into Zhenhai Township, which has jurisdiction over 14 villages, including Huangkeng, zashe, Qingyang, jingnei, Shimei, Shenao, Zhuoqi, Guantou, baikeng, Zhenhai, Baitang, Xindun, liberty and Huoyu.
In the early days of the founding of new China, it was under the jurisdiction of the third district office.
In July 1952, District 6 (Huangkeng) was set up from District 3 (Gangwei), with jurisdiction over 10 townships including Baitang, Xincuo, Ziyou, Zhenhai, Zikeng, Suyu, Shimei, jingnei, Huangkeng and Shenao.
In August 1955, Huangkeng District returned to Gangwei district. In April 1958, the district was withdrawn and merged into townships, and Gangwei district was abolished. Ten townships originally under the jurisdiction of six districts were merged to form four townships, namely Daomei, Wuyu, Huangkeng and Xintang. Xincuo Township governs five administrative villages, namely Zhenhai, Guantou, Hongxing, Xincuo and Baitang. The township is located in Dunli community of Xincuo.
In September 1958, the township system was abolished and the people's commune was established. Red flag commune was established by merging the four townships of yuandoumei, Suyu, Huangkeng and Xintang. The commune is located in baikeng, and there are 10 production camps under Baitang, Xincuo, Ziyou, Zhenhai, baikeng, jingnei, Huangkeng, Daomei and Suyu.
In December 1958, the red flag commune and rocket commune (Gangwei) merged to form the red flag people's commune, under which there was a farming management area.
In July 1959, Hongqi people's commune was renamed Gangwei people's commune. It has jurisdiction over 25 production brigades, including am, Tangtou, Meishi, Shibu, Gucheng, Xintang, Baitang, liberty, Guantou, Zhenhai, Daomei, Suyu, Baitang, Huangkeng, jingnei, Shenao, Zhuoqi, Diandi, Baisha, Greene, chengwai, Dajing, Shatan, Shikeng and kaohou.
In January 1960, Longxi and Haicheng merged into Longhai County, and Longjiao belonged to Gangwei commune of Longhai county.
In September 1984, Gangwei commune was changed into Gangwei Township, with jurisdiction over 29 administrative villages.
In January 1988, Longjiao she township was set up from Gangwei Township, which has jurisdiction over 10 administrative villages, including baikeng, Liuhui, Zhenhai, Guantou, Hongxing, Xincuo, Baitang, Huangkeng, jingnei and Xincun.

Funeng wind farm
Located in Longjiao she Township, Longhai District, Funeng wind farm is a key project in Fujian Province. It has three wind farms, Longjiao, Huangkeng and Xincun, with a total investment of 2 billion yuan and a designed installed capacity of 224000 kW. The first phase of Longjiao wind farm and the second phase of Huangkeng wind farm started construction in October 2010 and may 13, 2012 respectively, and have been completed and put into operation. Xincun wind farm under construction belongs to the third phase of the project, with an investment of about 430 million yuan. Since the start of construction, the project has been progressing smoothly through the implementation of special personnel to closely monitor the construction progress and strengthen the supervision and tracking. By April 2015, the foundation construction of all 24 fans has been completed, and the hoisting of 11 fans has been completed. In July 2015, part of the equipment can be put into operation for power generation. After the project is fully put into operation, 68 fans can generate 300 million kilowatt hours of electricity annually.
