Xubi Street

Xubi street is subordinate to Sanyuan District, Sanming City, Fujian Province. It was established in July 2005 and has jurisdiction over Wulu community, Chonghua community, Qianlong community, Dongqian community, Bihu community, Yangshan village, Liaoyuan village, Houyang village and Xubi village.

Historical evolution

Xubi street was built in 1984, and the township was built in 1987. In 1997, it covers an area of 51 square kilometers and has a population of 5000. It has jurisdiction over six village committees, namely Liedong, liexi, Xubi, Yangshan, Houyang and Liaoyuan. In 2003, it has jurisdiction over six administrative villages with a population of 4600 and an area of 42 square kilometers. In July 2005, Xubi Township withdrew the township and merged the streets, abolished the Beimen sub district office and established Xubi sub district office. Ledong village originally under the jurisdiction of Xubi township is under the jurisdiction of Ledong sub district office; Xubi village, Yangshan village, Houyang village and Liaoyuan village are under the jurisdiction of Xubi sub district office; liexi village is under the jurisdiction of liexi sub district office. At the end of the year, Xiaojiao village was upgraded to an organic village and put under the jurisdiction of liexi sub district office.
