Tianzhushan Forest Farm

Tianzhushan Forest Park is located in the state-owned Tianzhushan forest farm, Dongfu Town, Haicang District, Xiamen city. To the west is Changtai County, 36 kilometers away from Xiamen City and 35 kilometers away from Zhangzhou. Xiamen Zhangzhou Expressway passes through from the south, so the traffic is very convenient. The park was built on January 8, 1962, formerly known as Guankou Jiaotan forest farm. In August 1980, it was renamed as state-owned Tianzhushan forest farm in Xiamen.

It takes about 40 minutes from Xiamen island to lianger reservoir in guoban village, Dongfu town via Haicang Bridge. 2. Tianzhu Mountain Forest Park, with a forest coverage rate of 96.8%, has more than 1500 kinds of plants, 10 square kilometers of natural secondary forest, and symbiosis of trees, old vines and mosses. The tree layer is dominated by Pinus massoniana. The mountains in the area are continuous and undulating, most of which are more than 700 meters. The highest peak is Tianzhu Mountain, 933 meters above sea level, and the second peak is xianlingqi mountain, 916 meters above sea level. There are five man-made lakes with a total water storage capacity of more than 10 million cubic meters, of which Xitou lake has the largest catchment area of 11 square kilometers. At present, some scenic spots in the forest park, such as the reconstruction of Zhenji temple, which was built in the first year of the Tang Dynasty and destroyed in the early Republic of China, have been gradually promoted. 3. There are farmhouses beside lianger reservoir in the forest park, which can provide farmhouse meals and barbecue tools for rent. There is pure honey on the side of the stone house of xiehongqiao. Near the forest park, there is the Sun Moon Valley Hot Spring newly developed in recent years. It is a kind of enjoyment to soak in the hot spring after climbing.

At the beginning of the operation, the total business area was 100000 mu. It starts from Tianma mountain in the East and ends at the junction of Longhai and Changtai in the West. The field department is located in Hongtang village of Dongfu Township, and a branch field is set up around Tianma mountain. In 1963, the division was abolished, and the total business area was adjusted to 44300 mu. After the treatment of forest ownership, the total operating area is 39700 mu. There are five small reservoirs in the area, including Xitou reservoir, with a total capacity of 10 million cubic meters. In the winter of 1985, the flower and tree nursery was established, covering an area of 52 mu. It was closed in 1990. In 1986, a stone plant was set up, and in March 1991, a wood processing plant was set up. Three work areas (Tianzhu, Keng Nei and Xitou) are set up under the site. The Department has set up four units of personnel secretary, production, finance and comprehensive management, and forestry police station. At present, there are 49 employees (10 cadres, 39 workers, including 13 contract workers), 33 family members, 39700 mu of forest land and 01000 mu of non forest land. Among the woodlands, there are 32700 mu of woodland, 4700 mu of shrubbery, 0700 mu of unfinished woodland, 003 mu of nursery land and 157 mu of non woodland. Among the existing woodlands, there are 3900 mu of Cunninghamia lanceolata forest, 24400 mu of Masson pine forest, 3900 mu of miscellaneous forest and 0500 mu of economic forest. The total area of preserved plantation is 26600 mu, the volume is 102900 cubic meters, and the timber production is 19400 cubic meters. 50 mu of longan fruit forest has been put into production. By 1995, the total amount of state investment was 6.29 million yuan, including 2.293 million yuan for forestry production, 622000 yuan for construction and installation projects, 350000 yuan for diversified operation and 3.025 million yuan for management fees. there are 54 km fire lines (32 km of raw soil belt and 22 km of forest belt), with an average of 1.7 km of forest land per 1000 mu. The simple road is 30 km. The total construction and installation area is 2960 square meters, including 2 office buildings and 3 staff dormitories, with a total area of 1460 square meters. It is equipped with 1 police car and 5 motorcycles. the site is located in the west gate of Xiamen Special Economic Zone, close to National Highway 324, 34 km away from Xiamen. The site is full of trees and beautiful scenery, which is conducive to the development of tourism. In 1993, Fujian Provincial Forestry Department approved the establishment of Tianzhushan Forest Park, which was approved by experts in December 1994. Strange rocks are one of the features of the park. Xiantao stone, turtle stone, Yingzui rock, jushifang, Baxian table, Qianzhang rock and so on make people think deeply. In this green world, five artificial reservoirs, like five pearls, are inlaid in the forest sea. They are as clear as a mirror, and the water quality is sweet. It's endless fun to walk or fish on the shore. at the foot of the setting sun mountain, there is the site of Zhenji Temple of Tang Dynasty, which is the first batch of cultural relics protection units in Jimei District. According to the records of the temple foundation and stone tablet, the ancient temple has a grand building, many monks and rich fields. According to historical records, Li Chen, Emperor Xuanzong of Tang Dynasty, spent three years here. And left the Yulong pool, Yulong bridge, Emperor well and other monuments. The forest Department of Tianzhu Mountain is the ancient battlefield where Zheng Chenggong defeated Chen Jin, a famous general of the Qing Dynasty. Therefore, tens of thousands of people come here every year from July 20 to 24 of the lunar calendar to hold a grand sacrifice and worship activity, which lasts for several days and is very lively.
