Changxindian Street

Fengtai District of Beijing governs streets. Located in the west of the area, on the West Bank of Yongding River, 19 kilometers away from Tiananmen. It is adjacent to Wanping District Office in the East, Changyang town of Fangshan District in the south, Yungang street in the west, Gucheng street of Shijingshan and Yongding town of Mentougou District in the north. Historical evolution

In the Yuan Dynasty, it was called zepandian. In the Ming Dynasty, there were two villages, changchangdian and Xindian. In the Qing Dynasty, Changdian was connected with Xindian, which was called Changxindian. Later, it evolved into Changxindian. Local people commonly called it "Xindian". After the formation of Changxindian Town, it belonged to Wanping County of shuntianfu. In the early years of the Republic of China, it was transferred to Wanping county. In 1928, Beijing was changed into a special city of Beiping, and all the counties of the former Jingzhao place were assigned to Hebei Province. Changxindian town is one of the eight towns in Wanping county. In 1937, because the Wanping County Office was destroyed by the war, the Wanping County Office moved to the Laoye temple in Changxindian town. After the liberation of Changxindian town in December 1948, the 18th district government of Beiping city was established. In January 1949, Changxindian Town Office was set up. in 1950, it merged with Fengtai District into 12 districts, and later renamed Fengtai District.
