Yinxi Street
Yinxi street is a street under the jurisdiction of Fuqing City, Fujian Province, with an area of 51.1 square kilometers and a population of 79973 (2010).
Yinxi sub district has jurisdiction over the neighborhood committees of Rongxi and Fengshan communities of the former Rongcheng sub district office, the neighborhood committees of Rongyin community of yuanyinxi Town, nine village committees of Yinxi, yunzhongyang, Wenlou, Longxi, Mashan, Yaofeng, Zhushan, Xilou and Yangpu, and two village committees of Puwei and Luyuan in yuanyangxia town. Yinxi Street office is located at 55 Qingrong Avenue.

Yinxi street is named after yinpu village and Xilin village. In 1950, it was Yinxi Township, belonging to the first district (in front of yinxixi). In September 1955, it belonged to the tea pavilion district. It belonged to Chengguan commune in 1958, and Yinxi commune was set up in July 1961. In 1964, Yinxi commune had 34 brigades under its jurisdiction. On May 11, 1970, Yinxi commune changed its name to Honglu commune, and its address was moved from Chengguan to Honglu. Fourteen production teams, Ruiting, Xialou, cangxia, Chaoyang, Dongnan, Anmin, SONGFENG, SONGTAN, Yutang, Nipu, Longdong, Yufeng, Dongliu and Shijing, were under the jurisdiction of Chengguan commune.
In October 1978, Honglu commune was divided into two communes, Yinxi commune and Honglu commune. Yinxi commune had 24 brigades (some brigades were transferred back from the former Chengguan commune). It was changed to yinxixiang in September 1984 and yinxizhen in November 1991.
In 1996, it covers an area of 75.5 square kilometers and has a population of 64000. It has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages and Rongyin neighborhood committees, including Yinxi, Yangpu, Zhushan, Xilou, Yaofeng, Mashan, Longxi, Yunzhong, Lingkou, Wenlou, Xialou, xiawu, cangxia, Chaoyang, Anmin, Dongnan, SONGTAN, SONGFENG, Nipu, Yutang, Longdong, Yufeng, Dongliu and Shijing.
At the end of 2005, the provincial government approved to abolish Yinxi town. In 2006, Yinxi street was officially established, which continued to use the original name of Yinxi town. It governs the two communities of Rongxi and Fengshan in Rongcheng street and the nine administrative villages of Yinxi, yunzhongyang, Wenlou, Longxi, Mashan, Yaofeng, Zhushan, Xilou and Yangpu, and the two administrative villages of Puwei and Luyuan in yuanyangxia town Shijing administrative village belongs to the newly established Yuping street, Dongliu, Longdong, Yufeng, Yutang and Nipu administrative villages belong to the newly established Longshan street, and xiawu, SONGTAN, SONGFENG, Anmin, cangxia, Xialou, Dongnan and Chaoyang administrative villages belong to the newly established Longjiang street. In 2010, the resident population of Yinxi street was 79973 (Liupu).

Yinxi street is speeding up the process of urbanization and increasing the number of school-age children. Yinxi street is just located in the new urban area. In order to optimize the layout of education and promote the balanced development of education, the street has raised 45 million yuan to build and rebuild four schools, namely Kanghui primary school, yinpu primary school kindergarten, Lin primary school and Mashan primary school, to meet the needs of school-age children. The new campus of Kanghui primary school covers 46.85 mu of land. The planned land is divided into teaching area, sports area, office area and living area, with a total construction area of 19889 square meters and a total investment of 29 million yuan. It is constructed in two phases. The first phase includes the teaching complex building and kindergarten of the primary school, and the second phase includes the teaching building, science and technology building and gymnasium of the primary school. The enrollment scale of the new campus is 15 classes in kindergartens and 48 classes in primary schools (including 24 classes in the first phase). The first phase project of teaching complex building and kindergarten of primary school is under construction, which can be completed and put into use in the spring of 2014.
The newly built yinpu primary school kindergarten is located in the east of yinpu primary school in yinpu village, with a construction area of 2788.8 square meters and a total investment of 3.63 million yuan. The planned enrollment scale is 9 classes, with activity room, bedroom, toilet, cloakroom, canteen and laundry room, which can meet the needs of whole kindergarten. The kindergarten project has been basically completed. Lin primary and secondary school mainly renovates and expands the existing school buildings, with a planned investment of 5 million yuan and a construction area of 2880 square meters, including the reconstruction of the existing campus into a teaching area, and the acquisition of 9 mu of land on the east side of the campus as a school sports area. The project started in October.
