Fufeng Town, the former Fufeng township of Qimen County, agreed to cancel Fufeng township of Qimen County and establish Fufeng town according to Anhui Provincial Department of civil affairs in order to promote the rapid economic development of mountainous areas and accelerate the process of urbanization. Located in the southeast of Qimen County, it borders Yi county and Xiuning in the southeast, Qiaoshan Township in the west, jinzipai town and Henglian Township in the north, covering an area of 117.66 square kilometers. Gaolingjiao, the seat of the town government, is 46.6 kilometers away from the county seat.

Fufeng town is a low mountain tea forest area. Since the reform and opening up, great changes have taken place in the industrial structure. The traditional pattern of forest tea has been replaced by the pattern of tea forest, industry and commerce. Historical sites

Located in tukeng village, Fufeng Town, it covers an area of more than 2000 square meters on a slope of tukeng village group. It faces the river basin of the Lushui River. The river is S-shaped, with wide surface and slow flow. The site is a tukeng kiln. It was discovered by Jiang Wenzheng, a villager of xiatukeng villager group. It was announced as the fifth batch of provincial key cultural relics protection units in November 2004. From February 12 to 27, 2004, the Provincial Institute of archaeology carried out a trial excavation. The unearthed stone tools include spears, arrowheads, axes, axes, shovels, net pendants, etc. the pottery is divided into mud pottery and sand pottery. The shapes of the pottery include tripod, tripod, jar, basin, bean, spinning wheel, etc., and are painted with red, gray, black and decorated with rope pattern, blue pattern, etc. Among them, there are 14 pointed grinding stone spears, 1 stone arrowhead, 2 stone spears, 1 jade ware and 2 pottery tripod. Identified by Professor Gong Luming of the Provincial Institute of archaeology, it is a Neolithic site, about 5000 years ago. The first discovery of this site in the upper reaches of Xin'an River is of great significance. It provides a physical example for the historical study of ancient Huizhou and its surrounding areas. It is one of the few Neolithic sites found in southern Anhui Province so far.

Hometown of famous tea

Fufeng town is located in the upper reaches of Xin'an River. It has undulating mountains, green forests, streams and clouds. It is a natural and excellent place for producing green tea. It has the characteristics of "one bubble fragrance, two bubbles thick, three bubbles without reducing flavor, four bubbles with mellow flavor". Among them, shangxiatukeng, Fuxikou, qimazhou and Yangcun (four famous brands) have the best fried green quality, which is known as "the top of Tun green". In 1995, the famous tea "Huangshan Cuilan" jointly opened by the township and the famous tea experimental station of Qimen County was awarded the first prize of the "Gold Award of the second Agricultural Expo". Professor Chen Chuan, a famous tea man, was pleased to be nominated for the tea. Cheng Qikun, the former director of China Tea Research Institute, also wrote a poem praising it with "excellent quality". The township has an annual output of 180 tons of Chaoqing, Huangshan Cuilan and other famous tea. Fufeng Township tea market was founded in 1995, covering an area of 1800 square meters, with nearly 100 stalls. In recent years, the market has become increasingly popular, attracting tea farmers from nearby Xiuning and Yi counties as well as tea merchants from Shanghai, Zhejiang, Shandong, Jiangxi and other parts of the province to trade one after another. During the peak period, the number of people listed on the market reached more than 3000, the trading volume was 3 tons, and the trading volume was more than 100000 yuan. Fufeng town not only produces famous tea, but also has abundant excellent tea germplasm resources. Qimen County Tea Station and Provincial Institute of tea science have bred three excellent tea varieties from Qimen County, including provincial poplar 781, national poplar 783 and fucao 2. This is also rare in China. In 2003, the number of poplar 783 in Xuling breeding base reached more than 1.6 million, and the tea seedlings were sold all over the country. Fufeng town pays close attention to the management of tea garden and the improvement of tea quality, implements the construction of high-efficiency tea garden and the project of low-cost transformation of tea garden, establishes 1000 mu of pollution-free tea garden and 500 mu of organic tea garden, and introduces 300000 early-growing and high-quality tea varieties from 2002 to 2003, laying a solid foundation for Fulu to seize the domestic and foreign tea market in the 21st century.

Fufeng town of Qimen County is located in the southeast of the county, bordering Yi county and Xiuning County in the southeast. The rolling mountains, fertile land, green trees, bamboo sea waves, especially the annual flooding of the Liushui River, create a unique quality of tea, leaves thick, juicy, nurturing the people of this land. The "Huangshan Cuilan" produced in the township won the gold medal of the second National Agricultural Expo, making the Fu green bloom a new flower. In August 2002, 13 pieces of stone spears, axes, shuttles and spinning wheels used by human beings in the new era were unearthed in zhongtukeng of the township, which indicates that as early as 6000 years ago, there were ancestors living, reproducing and living here, which has been identified as a cultural site of the new era by experts from the provincial administration of cultural relics. This discovery greatly advanced the history of human activities in southern Anhui (about 3000-4000 years).
Located in Chiqiao, the Donggao tower, built in the Jiaqing period of Ming Dynasty, is 43 meters high, 7 stories, hexagonal, brick and wood structure. It has a history of 500 years. Inside the tower, there are stone steps circling up, the top of the tower is gourd shaped, and there are wind bells hanging from the eaves of each layer of the tower. When the breeze blows, the bells are melodious.
