Changxi township has a long history and outstanding people. The village was founded in the Tang Dynasty. It was Cangxi before the Southern Song Dynasty and Changxi after the year of Chunxi in the Song Dynasty. It is known as "the first village in Shenan". Changxi township is located in the east of Shexian County, slightly north, about 118 east longitude. 40 ', about 29 n. Changxi township has a long history. As early as the Han Dynasty, some people lived here. Changxi township was established in 1952. At that time, it was a small township with jurisdiction over Hongxin, Hongqi and Changyuan villages. Changxi township was divided into three townships from 1952 to June 1955, namely Changxi Township, Fengqi Township and Waner township. Among them, Changxi Township and Waner township are under the management of Shendu District, and Fengqi township is under the management of Chakou district. In July 1955, the three townships were merged and became Changxi Township under the management of Shendu district. In 1958, a large commune was designated. Changxi township was managed by Beian commune, and Changxi established a management area. In 1961, Changxi people's commune was established. In June 1983, the commune was transformed into a township, with jurisdiction over ten villages including Hongqi, Hongxin, Changyuan, Waner, michuan, Yongli, Yongsheng, Fengqi and bayuan, and Changxi township was established. In April 2008, the village level regional planning was adjusted from the original ten administrative villages to three administrative villages, namely Changxi village, Shuangyuan village and Waner village.
