Liuping township is a township under the jurisdiction of Susong County, Anqing City, Anhui Province. It is located in the northwest corner of Susong County, adjacent to Huangmei and Qichun counties in Hubei Province,
It is 16 kilometers long from east to west and 3.8 kilometers wide from north to south, with a total area of 35.02 square kilometers. It governs seven administrative villages with a total population of 10731 (2017). It has 314.1 hectares of cultivated land and 2171.5 hectares of mountain farms, which is a typical deep mountain area.
Liuping Township, known as "the hometown of culture" in ancient times, has beautiful scenery, undulating mountains and fresh natural environment. Luohanjian, the highest peak of Susong County, is located in this township with an altitude of 1011 meters, which is suitable for living and traveling. Liuping is rich in resources, with 10000 mu bamboo forest, more than 19 million tons of phosphorus ore, 700 million cubic meters of marble and granite, and 600 meters of drop water resources.

With a total area of 35.02 square kilometers, it governs seven administrative villages, including Daban village, Liuping village, changxishan village, Dadi village, Puhe village, Qiushan village and Longhe village, with a total population of 10731 (2017). Daban village is located in the seat of Liuping township government, with obvious geographical advantages. In June 2004, it was formed by the merger of Shibi village and Daban village. It is adjacent to Puhe in the East, Chenhan Dengshan in the north, Puhe, Liuping and Zhushan in Hubei in the south, Liuping and changxishan in the West. The land area is about 3.23 square kilometers. The village has 13 villager groups, 373 households and a total population of 1604. The village has 2830 mu of mountain area, including 729 mu of timber forest, 1971 mu of ecological forest and 130 mu of fruit forest; 483 mu of cultivated land, including 441 mu of paddy field and 42 mu of dry land. Liuping village is located in the middle of Liuping Township, with 15 villager groups, 510 households and more than 1900 people. It covers an area of 6 square kilometers, including 540 mu of cultivated land and 6000 mu of mountain farm. Changxi river passes through the border from north to south, with 11 groups of 370 households and more than 1400 people living on both sides of the river, and 4 groups of 140 households and more than 500 people living in remote mountainous areas. Changxishan village is located in the northwest corner of Liuping Township, bordering Beiyu and Chenhan. There are 27 villager groups, 756 households and 2986 people in the village, with a land area of 7920 mu, 905 mu of arable land and 6200 mu of mountain farm. The per capita income is 2780 yuan, mainly planting rice, rape, wheat, cotton and potato. The forestry industry has bamboo and tea. The underground phosphorus deposits include marble, phosphate, limestone, talc and graphite. There are abundant water resources. Dadi village is located in the east of Liuping township. It is adjacent to Gushan village in Aikou Township in the East, Huangmei village in Hubei Province in the south, Puhe village in this township in the West and Chenhan Township in the north. It has jurisdiction over 546 households in 28 villager groups with a population of 2010. The area of cultivated land is 727 mu, including 543 mu of paddy field, 184 mu of dry land and 6500 mu of mountain farm. Located in the middle of Dadi and Osaka village, Puhe village is a combination of laopuhe and Houshan, with beautiful scenery. Puhe village has a land area of 4.5 square kilometers, including 534 mu of paddy field, 123 mu of dry land, 657 mu of grain crops, 4600 mu of mountain farm, 2300 mu of timber forest, 2100 mu of ecological forest and 200 mu of economic fruit forest. The per capita net income is more than 1900 yuan and the collective economic income is 15000 yuan. Qiushan village is located in the northwest corner of Liuping Township, bordering Beiyu County, Hubei Qichun county and Huangmei County. There are 10 villager groups, 435 households and 1708 people in the village, with a land area of 5.1 square kilometers, 730 mu of arable land and 6200 mu of mountain farm. The per capita income is 2780 yuan, mainly planting rice, rape, wheat, sweet potato and potato. The forestry industry includes bamboo and tea. Longhe village is located in the northwest of Liuping Township, the hinterland of luohanjian, the highest peak in Susong County, and the upstream of Changxi River, which runs through the whole territory, so it is called Longhe village. It is adjacent to Changxi mountain in the East, Liuping village and Huangmei County in the south, Qiushan village and Qichun County in the west, and Liaohe village in Beiyu Township in the north. the village has 23 villager groups, 450 households, 1658 people, with a total area of 5.8 square kilometers. At present, there are more than 7000 mu of mountain farms, including more than 4000 mu of Moso bamboo, 611 mu of cultivated land (81 mu of dry land, 530 mu of paddy field), more than 1200 mu of tea garden, and more than 400 mu of chestnut.
Infrastructure
Liuping Township takes the opportunity of the construction of "village to village" highway project and takes the rural road construction as the breakthrough of new rural construction and farmers' income increase.
