On December 18, 2019, Sichuan Provincial People's Government approved Aba Prefecture to adjust the administrative divisions of 10 counties (cities) including malkang city (cfzm [2019] No. 22): weimen Township and Yonghe Township were abolished and weimen town was established. The administrative region of weimen town was the administrative region of weimen Township and Yonghe Township, and weimen Town People's government was stationed at No. 19, group 1, jiaoyuanbao village.

Weimen town is located in Maoxian County, Sichuan Province. In 2019, Yonghe Township and weimen Township were abolished and weimen town was established. The former administrative region of Yonghe Township and weimen township is the administrative region of weimen town. Weimen Town People's government is located at No. 19, group 1, jiaoyuanbao village.
