Shimenzhai Zhen is located in the north of Haigang District, Qinhuangdao City, Hebei Province, 19 kilometers away from Haigang district government. Covering an area of 177.34 square kilometers, the town government is located in beixie street. Qinshiling local railway runs through the north and south, and connects with Beijing Harbin, Daqin and other national railways. Shimenzhai is only 12 kilometers away from the west exit of Qinhuangdao on Beijing Shenyang Expressway, 15 kilometers away from Qinhuangdao port and 20 kilometers away from Shanhaiguan customs airport.

Industry

Cement industry is the pillar industry of shimenzhai Town, and its main raw materials are coal and limestone. There are 10 cement plants in the town, whose products are ordinary portland cement, mainly including Feichi, Qinshi, xiapai, Chaohe and other brands. The total output is about 900000 tons, and the annual design capacity is 1.4 million tons. It is produced by mechanized shaft kiln, and it is popular in the northeast, South China and Beijing markets.

The town is rich in shale soil resources. Qinhuangdao new shale brick factory has been established in the town, which can increase the deep processing of shale brick, broaden the surrounding consumer market, and make it the second pillar industry of shimenzhai town.

There are more than 40 quarries in the town, with an annual output of more than 2 million tons of limestone.
