Daxibian Township

Daxibian Township, belonging to Kaihua County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the northeast of Kaihua County. In September 2005, daxibian township was merged with Huanggu Township in the administrative region adjustment of the whole county. It is 34 kilometers away from the county seat, bordering Chun'an County, and adjacent to Linshan Township and cuntou town.

Historical evolution

Daxibian Township and Huanggu Township were established in 1950 and merged into Shengli Township in 1956. In 1958, it was changed into daxibian management area and Huanggu management area, belonging to cuntou commune. Daxibian commune and Huanggu commune were established in 1961, and daxibian Township and Huanggu Township were changed in 1983. In 1996, daxibian Township covers an area of 40.2 square kilometers and has a population of 8000.
