Linan Township
Linan Township, formerly under the jurisdiction of Shengzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located in the southwest of Shengzhou City, 23 kilometers away from the urban area. It is adjacent to Xinchang County in the East, Dongyang City in the south, Guimen Township and Changle Town in the west, and Ganlin town in the north.
Development history
The forest area is large, and the main economic crops are tea, bamboo, big green plum, peach, plum, etc. tea is the key economic pillar of the township. The main mineral resources are Yingshi mine, which is commonly known as greenstone. The color of Yingshi is yinglv, as well as purple, white, translucent and so on. It is very beautiful and has great ornamental value. There are more than 10 large and small mines in Linan Township, mainly distributed in Dingxi village. The second largest industry is textile industry, mainly distributed in Hanxi village. Textile industry plays an absolutely important role in the economic income of the township. The name of li'nan Township began in 1934. In the early days, it was called li'yi township. Later, according to its geographical location, it was divided into Xianan, Zhongnan and li'nan townships along Xinchang, so it was called li'nan. In May 1950, Linan township was divided into Zhouxi, Haohan, Xiangling and jiangtan townships. In March 1956, Zhouxi and Haohan townships were merged, xiaoxihuan and Xizhu of Fangkou Township were divided into Pingshan Township, and Jiangdan and Xiangling Township were merged into Jiangshan township. In March 1958, dapingtou of Pingshan township was assigned to Haoshi township. In October, Pingshan administrative area and Jiangshan administrative area were set up under the jurisdiction of Nanshan people's commune. In November 1961, Pingshan people's commune, Hanxi people's Commune and Zhenshan people's commune were established respectively. In 1970, Pingshan people's Commune and Hanxi people's commune were merged into pinghan people's commune, and they were still separated the next year. In December 1983, it was changed into Pingshan, Hanxi and Zhenshan townships. In May 1992, it was merged into Linan township.
