The street has 44262 mu of cultivated land and 58768 mu of mountain forest. The agricultural foundation is solid, the structural adjustment is strong, and the benefit is obvious. Science, education, culture and health are developing vigorously. At present, there are 7 schools, 229 teachers and 5179 primary and secondary school students in the street. Nine year compulsory education has been implemented to a high standard. Covering an area of nearly 100 mu, the new middle school with a total investment of 20 million yuan has been put into use; the street health center has been built with an investment of 2.5 million yuan; and the central kindergarten with an investment of 5 million yuan is under construction.
