Huashe Street
Huashe street is located in the northwest of Keqiao District, Shaoxing City, 15 kilometers away from Shaoxing City. In the south, it is close to national highway 104 and Xiaoshao canal. In the north, national highway 329 runs through the middle part. In the East, Hangzhou Shaoxing Ningbo Expressway passes through Keqiao, China Textile City. With a total area of 23.05 square kilometers and a population of 88343 people (in 2010), it has jurisdiction over 14 administrative villages and 8 communities. According to the records of Shaoxing City, people with the surname of Hua first moved to zhushe and settled there. Later, they became a market town, so they took the name of Huashe. Before the Southern Song Dynasty, the southeast of the street was called Yuhui Township, and the west of the street was called Shufeng township. Huashe town was built in 1932, replaced in 1984, merged into Guanshu Township in 1992, and changed from town to street in 2001.

It has jurisdiction over 24 administrative villages, including Huashe, Zhanglou, Guanhua, Minsheng, Huadong, shahiwang, Jiefang, Shufu, xishufu, Daxizhuang, Renli, Zhongxin, Zhongli, Huli, Wendu, Huaxu, Shengli, Hengjiang, Zuoyi, Tingdong, Tingxi, Dongzhou, Xizhou and the first morning. At the end of 2005, it covers an area of 23.05 square kilometers and has a population of 37400. It has jurisdiction over two communities of Xinghua and Xingyue, including 11 residential areas of Xinghua, Xingyue, Wendu, Renli, Xizhou, Dongzhou, Tingdong, Tingxi, Huaxu, morningtou and Jiefang, and eight administrative villages of Xiaozhu (Xiaozuo), Humen, Zhanglou, Huashe, shashawang, Shufu, xishufu and Daxizhuang. Its office is located in Huashe village.
Environmental Science
In the street, the river is crisscross and the landscape is beautiful. It is a typical water town in the south of the Yangtze River. The houses are built in accordance with the T-shaped street and river, the shops on both sides are adjacent, the rain corridor is extended, and the stone bridge is hung. In ancient times, Huashe was close to Hangzhou Bay. Up to now, there are ancient seawall, Haotian and other relics, as well as Zhentang nunnery, Sandland king and other place names. According to historical records, Yuhui princes and their daughters were married in Tushan on the north side of the street. Later generations took Yuhui as their hometown, and built Yuhui bridge and Yuhui hall to commemorate it. Even the river under the bridge was also named "Zhuhou River".
History and culture
From the late Qing Dynasty, Huashe gradually developed into an important origin of Shaoxing silk. There are seven or eight hundred organic spinning households, with 3000 looms. In the peak season, 600 or 700 pieces of silk can be produced every day, enjoying the reputation of "sunrise Huashe wanzhang silk". There are many silk shops and banks, and there are many restaurants, teahouses and hotels. At that time, it was once known as "little Shanghai". Jiangbeilou "Zhao Qingji" silk shop has an annual turnover of 500000 yuan, and its "Gui" silk spinning shop was famous all over the country. In the 1980s, Huashe's textile industry got a new development, with a production capacity of 100 million meters of various kinds of cloth. In 1996, it became the first shuttle free town in the region. In the new century, Huashe's textile products are constantly improving and become an important textile production base in the region. Textile enterprises are actively developing export-oriented economy while constantly improving their grades and levels. In 2002, the self operated export of the whole street was 158 million US dollars, and the actual utilization of foreign capital was 10.48 million US dollars, among which the actual utilization of foreign capital ranked first in 19 towns (streets) of the county, accounting for one tenth of the total number of the county. In order to expand the development space, we have started to set up an industrial park in the west of the street, actively develop small and medium-sized enterprises, and the first phase covers an area of 1000 mu; we have built a Renli poultry egg processing park in Humen section of 329 national highway, develop benefit agriculture with the concept of industry, and cultivate agricultural leading enterprises.
Historical literati
There are outstanding people in huashedai. Wang Zuo, the earliest number one scholar in Shaoxing, was a Huashe man. Dong Xiwen, a famous modern painter, is a native of Guanhua village. In 1953, he created the famous oil painting the founding ceremony, which is well-known at home and abroad. There is a famous saying in Huashe: there are many flagpoles (the Chinese style in the imperial examination can erect a chess pole), and there are many talented people in the back horse. Zhou Enlai was born in Houma village. According to the records in the book of worship of the hundred year hall, Zhou Qing, the ancestor of the hundred year hall, moved from Houma to Shaoxing in the early Ming Dynasty. Zhou Qing was the great grandson of Zhou Mao, the ancestor of Houma. On March 29th, 1939, Zhou Enlai added his and Deng Yingchao's names and date of birth in his memorial book. In the Qing Dynasty, Zhou Changfa, a Malaysian, accompanied Qianlong to Shao to offer sacrifices to Yu. He wrote two chapters of Suinian, which was sung by monarchs and ministers, and published books such as Liao history. Today, another centenarian, Zhou Yongcun, is a great calligrapher who carries forward the past and opens up the future. In the original Houma "Zhou Da Da Temple", the calligraphy plaque of grandfathers, grandsons, uncles and nephews always shows the brilliance of Houma. When the Song Dynasty moved to the south of the Yangtze River, Zhao changer, the 13th grandson of Zhao Kuangyin, the Taizu of the Song Dynasty, settled down in Huashe with the Royal Zhao family tree. His great grandson, Zhao cunshan, built a Zhao ancestral temple beside the Huashe temple. There are five rooms with three entrances. The middle entrance is as high as 28 meters. There are flying dragons and swords on the roof. The plaque of Xuanyuan Yanqing written by Zhao hengti, the governor of Hunan Province in the early Republic of China, is hung on the memorial hall. There are no less than 200 couplets, calligraphy and paintings inscribed by celebrities and scholars of past dynasties on both sides. There are portraits of Zhao Kuangyin about 10 meters high and 10 meters wide behind the later entrance. In front of the ancestral hall, there is a tall yellow wall across the river, which is inscribed with the words "songshipingyuan", which is said to be Zhao Mengfu's handwriting.
Cultural relics
In Zhanglou village, there is a YUNTI bridge built in 1606. The ancient stage in Houma village is still in good condition. The films "Ah Q" and "Stage Sisters" were shot on location here.
Huashe today
Rich historical heritage has led to today's prosperity of Huashe. In 1984, Huashe town became the first "hundred million yuan town" in the province. Since then, the per capita income of the province has been the first for 9 years. In 1983, it was a new commercial district with broad streets, buildings and merchants. In 1990, he was awarded the title of "China's township star" by the Ministry of civil affairs. In 2002, the GDP reached 1.31 billion yuan.
