Xiaofeng town

Xiaofeng town is located at the north foot of Tianmu Mountain and the upstream of Xitiaoxi, adjacent to the county in the East, Tianhuangping Pumped Storage Power Station in the south, Longwangshan Nature Reserve in the West and Guangde city in Anhui Province in the north. There are 11 provincial roads and 12 provincial roads passing through the town. It is 12.5 km away from the town of Dipu, 230 km away from Shanghai, 270 km away from Nanjing, and 69 km away from Hangzhou, the provincial capital. It is also connected by first-class highway, with convenient transportation.

Basic introduction

Xiaofeng was called Xiaojing town and later Tiaoyuan town. It was also called Xiaojing town in the Anti Japanese national government. It was named Chengguan town at the beginning of liberation. In 1958, the two counties of Anxiao were merged and the county seat was moved to tipu, which was called Fengcheng town. In 1981, it was renamed Xiaofeng town. After the merger of the two counties, Xiaofeng has always been an established town. At that time, it had jurisdiction over six residential areas with a population of more than 10000, and the urban area was only 1 square kilometer. In July 1985, Xiaofeng town and Xiaofeng Township merged. In January 1999 and January 2000, chiwu Township and Xiatang Township were abolished and merged into a new Xiaofeng town.
