Changkou town
Changkou Town, located in the south of Fuyang District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, is located at 29 ° 54 ′ N and 119 ° 52 ′ e, 20 km away from the urban area, with a total area of 58.4 square kilometers (2017). It is closely linked to mountain township and Chang'an Town in the southeast, Jiangnan Town in Tonglu County in the southwest, and Fuchun River in the northwest. It is the deputy center of Fuyang District, Hangzhou City, and one of the first batch of small city cultivation pilot towns in Zhejiang Province.
Most of the territory is hilly area, there are some alluvial plains along the river, the soil is mainly clay and sand. The terrain is high in the southwest and low in the northeast. Huyuan River, wuchou River and Songjia river flow into Fuchun River from south to north, and Guajiang river flows into Fuchun River from Qingjiang estuary, encircling Wangzhou. There are 3133 hectares of forest and 1762 hectares of arable land in the town.
In January 2020, Changkou town was selected into the list of beautiful town construction models in Zhejiang Province in 2020. On July 29, 2020, it will be included in the National Health township (county) naming list of 2017-2019 cycle.
Introduction to villages and towns
Changkou town is located in the southwest of Fuyang District, adjacent to Huanshan Township in the East, Chang'an Town in the south, Dongtu Township in the West and Fuchun River in the north. It is 55 kilometers away from Hangzhou and 18 kilometers away from Fuyang City Center. National Highway 320 (south line) and Hangzhou Xinjing Expressway (Hangzhou Qianlong Expressway) run through the whole territory, belonging to the plain grain producing area. Changkou is one of the 20 central towns in Hangzhou and the second batch of provincial central towns in the province.

Changkou is an ancient place name. It is named after the mountain goods accumulation yard and the entrance of Huyuan river. There are traces of human habitation more than 5000 years ago. In the Qin and Han Dynasties, people lived intensively. In the Tang and Song Dynasties, markets flourished. In the late Ming and early Qing Dynasties, Changkou flourished. Until the Anti Japanese War, the Kuomintang county government moved to Changkou, which made Changkou once known as a small Shanghai. Wang Zhou, formerly known as sun Zhou, is the hometown of Sun Quan, Emperor Wu of the Three Kingdoms. In May 1992, Changkou town and Wangzhou Township were merged into Changkou town. In February 2004, it merged with Dongtu township to form xinchangkou town and worked with Fuchunjiang economic development zone. The town governs 50 administrative villages, 63 natural villages, 332 villager groups and 1 neighborhood committee.
At the end of 2005, there were 13582 households and 41815 people in the town, including 21286 males, 20529 females and 1493 non-agricultural population, with a natural growth rate of 2.23%. The family planning rate was 96.29%. The sixth national census in 2010 shows that the total population of Changkou town is 29709.
In 2017, the town covers an area of 58.4 square kilometers and has a population of 38674.
History of construction
Changkou used to be one of the four major county ports in Fuyang. It was a commercial market town for a long time. It was also the outlet of Huyuan river. It was the storage place for transporting mountain goods and the throat for collecting and distributing mountain materials in Huyuan mountain area, so it was named Changkou. In the Qing Dynasty, it was Yifeng No.1, No.2 village and Yangchang No.3 village in Southwest China. In the Republic of China, it was Mashan Township and Wangzhou Township in Changkou town. After the founding of the people's Republic of China, it was called Mashan Township and Wangzhou township. In 1956, it was named Changkou Township and Wangzhou township. In 1958, Changkou commune and Wangzhou commune were established. In November 1959, Wangzhou commune was merged into Changkou commune. In 1981, Changkou commune and Wangzhou commune were set up separately. In March 1984, it was renamed Changkou town and Wangzhou township. In April 1992, Wangzhou Township entered the town.

In 1996, "sunquanjia liquor" produced by sunquanjia distillery won the gold medal of the second China environmental protection and green logo Expo in 1996; the town cable TV station was connected with Fuyang cable TV station, and could watch 12 programs such as Fuyang TV station.
In 1997, the village to village distance control telephone was realized; the construction of the south line of national highway 320 started, and the national highway runs through the whole town.
In 1998, the East and west streets of Changkou new street were basically formed, the design and planning of North and South streets were completed, the funeral reform was implemented, and cremation was carried out in an all-round way, and the reconstruction project of tangdongshan drainage station pumping station, a key municipal project with an investment of 280000 yuan, was basically completed.
Since 1994, it has become increasingly difficult for Changkou town to collect agricultural tax. In 1998, the township party committee and the people's government set up a collection leading group headed by the Secretary and the mayor of the town, with four groups of publicity, collection, tax protection and inspection. Two mobilization meetings were held successively. The town leaders' speeches were broadcast 30 times on cable TV, 640 publicity slogans were posted, and publicity vehicles were used for village by village publicity. From October 4 to 6, 1998, the Youth League Committee of Changkou town took the lead in holding the basketball match of Changkou town mid autumn cup, which lasted for three days in Yesheng village. 108 players from nine teams participated in the game, with more than 10000 spectators. The team of Changkou refractory factory won the championship.
In October 1998, the general land use planning of Changkou town was completed, including land use status, land use objectives, land structure adjustment, land protection, consolidation, planning and development. It plays a positive role in improving the land utilization rate of Changkou Town, giving full play to the land benefits and promoting the all-round economic development.
In July 2008, the curtain of Changkou new area construction officially opened.

Agricultural construction
In 1991, agriculture was dominated by planting, supplemented by breeding. The main varieties of planting industry are rice, wheat, rape, asparagus, watermelon, Ganshu, vegetables, etc. Wangzhoupian and Dongxiang were the key grain producing areas. Under the premise of "stabilizing grain production and developing diversified economy", the agricultural economy has achieved rapid development. The agricultural infrastructure has been improved continuously. Shangwu reservoir, laoshanwu reservoir and Haiwu reservoir have been repaired and reinforced successively. In 2005, a new Shangwu reservoir was built, which solved the drinking water problem of more than 4000 people in zhenjiaxi area. The first and second phases of songjiaxi river basin regulation project, a key water conservancy project in Hangzhou, were completed in 2003 and 2005 respectively. After 1993, "one excellent and two high" agriculture was developed. In that year, 130 hectares of cattle were introduced for cultivation. In the same year, pearl mussels were introduced from Jinhua and expanded year by year. In 2005, 331 hectares were cultivated, with an annual output value of 22.8 million yuan. In 2000, laoshanwu village introduced black chickens to breed and produce green shell eggs. Laoshanwu green shell egg base now breeds 10000 black chickens and produces 150000 kg green shell eggs. It is listed as the "Golden Bridge Project" project and the demonstration base of high-quality agricultural products in Fuyang City by the Municipal Association for science and technology. The "laoshanwu" black chicken green shell egg won the bronze award of 2003 Provincial Agricultural Expo. industrial development
The town's traditional industrial projects include papermaking, refractory, electronic equipment, sand mining and transportation. Because of not forming a certain scale, the industrial economy develops slowly. In 2003, a large-scale enterprise "Guoyu pipe pile" was built, with an annual production capacity of more than 100 million yuan. Sino Dutch Electronics Co., Ltd., which was established in 1997 to produce household water purifiers, was recognized as "China's famous and high-quality products" by the Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. It is the first large-scale enterprise with high scientific and technological content in the town. The refractory industry is enduring and the benefit of yellow sand mining and transportation industry is obvious. In 2003, the Changkou industrial block with Wangzhou as the center was designated. In 2004, the planning and design was completed. In 2005, the construction of baizhangfan standard plant was started. By the end of 2005, there were 335 large and small industrial enterprises in the town, including 20 enterprises with a scale of more than 5 million yuan.
In 1991, there were three supply and marketing cooperatives in Changkou, Dalu and Dongzi, and there were a certain number of distribution shops in each village. In May 1992, after the merger of Changkou and Wangzhou, the market in Changkou became more prosperous. Since then, due to the low terrain, narrow streets, aging stores and other reasons, the once prosperous old street shops have gradually decreased, and new streets have gradually formed. In 1992, a farmer's market was established in the southwest of the market town, with more than 60 stalls. In 2003, the first large-scale chain supermarket in the town, such as Haichao, entered the market.
