In the Northern Wei Dynasty, Shimen County was set up, and Shimen town belonged to Qiuchi town; in 2016, Shimen township was changed to Shimen town. History of construction
In the Northern Wei Dynasty, Shimen County was set up, belonging to Qiuchi town.
In the Western Wei Dynasty, Anyu county was established.
In the Northern Zhou Dynasty, Li county was established.
In the Qing Dynasty, it was in Shimenli of Jiezhou.
In 1913, it was qianshimenli.
Before December 1949, it was a border village, Shimen and Liangshui village.
In July 1950, it was Shimen and biancha Township, belonging to Liangshui district.
In April 1954, it was merged into Shimen township.
In March 1958, Jiaogong township was merged into Shimen township.
Shimen commune was established in October 1958 and merged into Liangshui commune in November of the same year.
In May 1961, Shimen commune was established from Liangshui commune.
In December 1983, Shimen commune was transformed into Shimen township.
In 2016, Shimen township was changed from township to town.
