Donghuangyu Town, belonging to Qianxi County, Tangshan City, Hebei Province, is located in the Middle East of Qianxi County, adjacent to Jinchangyu town and luojiatun town in the East, Xingcheng town and Yinzhuang Township across Luanhe River in the south, old urban and rural areas in the west, yuhuzhai Township and saheqiao town in the North, with an administrative area of 64.44 square meters.

History of construction

Before the 36th year of the Republic of China (1947), it belonged to Qian'an county.

In 1947, Qianxi county was the first district of Qianxi County.

In June 1953, it was set up in donghuangyu township.

In 1956, the district was withdrawn and the township was merged. Donghuangyu township was retained and the region was expanded.

In October 1958, it belonged to the donghuangyu brigade of Hongzhuan (donghuangyu) people's commune; in December of the same year, it was incorporated into Qian'an county and renamed donghuangyu management area.

In June 1961, Qianxi county was restored to Qianxi County and donghuangyu people's commune was built.

In March 1984, it was changed to donghuangyu township.

In June 1988, donghuangyu township was transformed into a town.
