Changgang Township, subordinate to Xingguo County, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is located in the north suburb of Xingguo County, 4 kilometers away. Famous people
Zou Fusheng (1837-1900), formerly known as Zifu, was born in Changgang county. He was awarded the title of general Jianwei by his military achievements. In 1883, he served as the director of foreign affairs in Vietnam. In 1884, the Sino French war broke out. Together with Guangxi governor Feng Zicai, he defeated the French army in zhennanguan and won the first great victory in the Sino foreign war in the late Qing Dynasty.
Li zhanchun (1839-1919), named shouting, was a native of Changgang. He took part in Pingnian, Pinghui and the Taiping army. He was the governor of Guangdong and Guangxi. He led the self strengthening army to recover Taiwan with Liu Mingchuan. After the Sino Japanese War of 1894-1895, the Japanese invaders attacked Beijing through Shandong, and Li zhanchun led 15 battalions to the north to serve the king, which defeated the Japanese conspiracy.
Xie Yuanhan (1875-1950), a native of Changgang, was born in Jingxu. In 1895, Xie participated in Kang Youwei's joint examination with 18 provinces in Beijing. He wrote a letter on the bus and advocated "flexibility" in the examination. In the first year of Xuantong (1909), he served as the censor of Sichuan Dao. In 1925, he served as the director of the Secretariat of the general command of the fourth group army of the national revolutionary army. During the Anti Japanese War, he lived in seclusion in the hometown of Xingguo. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he lived in Ganzhou.
