Tianchang town

Tianchang town is the earliest land forming place in the coastal area. It is located in the southwest of national highway 204, adjacent to Binhai County in the East, Huaihe River Waterway in the south, and Funing County in the West. Tongyu River and provincial highway 327 run through the town. Tianchang is located in the plain, with an administrative area of 81.94 square kilometers (2017), a population of 36288 (2017), and 14 village committees.

Historical memory

This is a red land. In Tiangou village, there are 29 unknown martyrs who died in the "Beisha battle"; in Xudan village, the well preserved "snow shame stele" stands upright; five generals have been out of the village, making immortal contributions to the cause of Anti Japanese liberation.
