Different times
The Chinese idiom, Pinyin is sh í y ì sh ì sh ū, which means that times and situations have changed. It comes from Zhang Juzheng's answer to Zhu Jinwu's resignation to build a pavilion in Ming Dynasty.

Zhang Juzheng's answer to Zhu Jinwu's resignation to build a pavilion in the Ming Dynasty: "different times bring about changes in Linggu." Li Zhi of the Ming Dynasty wrote in burning books, miscellaneous reports, preface to the first record: "this is not the only thing. For one person, in Zhongyou, he should act properly, while in ranqiu, he should act improperly. When the times are different, the speaker will change."
