Notched forceps
Chinese idiom, Pinyin is Qu ē K ǒ uni è Zi, which means forceps are used to pluck hair, while gaping forceps can't. Therefore, it is used as a metaphor for a miser who does not give up a cent. From the book with Chen Jichang.
The origin of Idioms
The twelfth part of Su Shi's book with Chen Jichang in Song Dynasty: "those who don't know each other regard their servants' hunger and satiety as the fat ears of guanyue people. There is a saying in the local proverb, "if there is a lack of forceps, the public will know it."
