Li Chuanyuan (1913-1936) was born in Tongjiang, Sichuan Province. In October 1936, he served as chief of the propaganda section of the Political Department of the 10th division of the Fourth Red Army. In the same year, he died in battle in Taozhou, Gansu Province.
