Yu tingcan (1735-1798), a native of Changsha, Hunan Province, was named Qingwen and cunwu. Scholars in Qing Dynasty.
Life of the characters
In 1751, he studied in Chengnan Academy of Changsha and studied under Wu Tiefu. In the 26th year of Qianlong reign of the Qing Dynasty (1761), he was a Jinshi. He was a scholar of the Imperial Academy. He was a scholar of the Imperial Academy. He reviewed and edited the three links library. He was friendly with Dai Zhen and Ji Yun. In the 36th year of Qianlong reign (1771), he was raised by his mother. He successively went to the south of bishop city, Lujiang, shigu and other academies. He is a scholar of Han and Song dynasties. He is fond of classics and history. He is good at ancient prose, astronomy, law and calendar, Gougu and six books. He is also famous for his poems and ancient prose.

There are four volumes of cunwu manuscripts, including Qianlong edition of Qing Dynasty; Yunxiang book house edition in the eighth year of Jiaqing (1803); Yunxiang book house edition in the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855); and re edition in the 34th year of Guangxu (1908). "The synopsis of the renewal of Siku Quanshu" said that its writing was "full of genuine Qi and arrogant". Yigu Caotang poetry anthology, a volume published by Deng Fulun and Deng Yi in Wugang, was printed in the 27th year of Daoguang (1847), the 5th year of Xianfeng (1865) and the 34th year of Guangxu (1908). According to the synopsis of Xuxiu Siku Quanshu, "tingcan studied hard and practiced Confucianism, so the true spirit of his poems flowed. Although he didn't pay attention to carving, his poems were natural.". The second volume of cunwu Wenlu is the sequel of Guochao Wenlu compiled by Li Zutao, who was engraved by Li family in Aoyang in 1868.
