Yan Dunfu (1120-1191, 1071-1141, 1075-1145) was born in Shahe, Wengang, Linchuan, Fuzhou (now Jinxian County, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province). He was the great grandson of Yan Shu, the poet Minister of the Southern Song Dynasty, and the nephew of Yan Jidao.
