Fang Jianru
Fang RuO (the year of birth and death is unknown), the word Ruo Wen, the word Wenfu, No. Pushan, was born in Chunan of Qing Dynasty. He had been educated by Mao Qiling. He believed in learning and read extensively. He was famous for his articles.
In the 45th year of Kangxi (1706), the Jinshi was elected as the magistrate of Shuntian Fengrun (now Hebei Province). After three years as an official, he was finally dismissed as an official by "Shaoguo oversight". Since then, he has been strict with himself and self-sufficient in teaching. He once gave lectures in Fuwen, Jishan and Ziyang academies, and his teaching must be based on mind rectifying skills and behavior oriented. Many of his teachers are excellent, such as Liang Wenzhuang and Chen zhaolun. Besides lecturing, he discussed with Zhu YIZUN in Xiushui and Fang Bao in Tongcheng about literature and history, as well as his efforts to cultivate morality. In the second year of Qianlong reign (1737), he was elected as a scholar of Confucian classics and was called to compile three rites. He wrote books and studied Confucian classics deeply. He devoted himself to the study of "Lian Guan Min". He also worked on ancient prose, which was simple and profound. He was able to expound nature and help the world. At that time, he was called "Mr. Pu Shan". His works include 14 volumes of Zhouyi Tongyi, 14 volumes of Shangshu Tongyi, 14 volumes of Maoshi Tongyi, 12 volumes of jixuzhaixue Guwen, 1 volume of Lisao Jingjie, Pu Shancun manuscript and Pu shanxu manuscript.
