Fang Shigan (July 25, 1787 - June 2, 1849), who was born in Luqiao, Dingyuan, Anhui Province, was the father of Fang Junyi, the main representative of Dingwen. He was born on June 11, 1952 (the eighth day of his first fall). In 1808, the 13th year of Jiaqing, he summoned the examiners and wrote in the cabinet. Because of his meritorious service in handling the case of bailianjiao, he was rewarded with four articles. He served as the governor of Huzhou, Zhejiang Province. In Huzhou, the bad habit of drowning girls (son preference) has been changed. He was demoted to the Ministry of war.

When he went to report to the Ministry of war, he didn't go to the official post station according to the regulations, but took the waterway. He was sentenced to death by Chen Ruolin, Minister of the Ministry of punishment. Yang Yi, Minister of Dali, once argued that he would be sent to Xinjiang to avoid death. When he arrived in Xinjiang, he was able to get rid of the Hui people's rebellion and return to his original place, Luqiao, Dingyuan.

On April 12, the 29th year of Daoguang (the year of Jiyou, the day of Jimao), he died at the age of 63. His works include complete works of eating sugarcane Pavilion, Zi Lian Fang and diary of Donggui.
