His deeds can be seen in Volume 67 of Jinshi cuibian. One of his poems is recorded in Quan Tang Shi.

Character experience

Wenjian is a Suzhou monk who lived in wuzonghuichang. In 842, the Sutra building was built in Baoshan, Dongting, Wuxian county.
