When he was a child, he studied calligraphy and painting with his brother Shi Kun. The house is called xiuzhuxuan. The calligraphy is Xixian, Xiaokai has Lingfei Jing and Ji'an Zhuan, Xingshu has Lanting's legacy, and Jingli Zhuan. He used to embroider figures in painting, and often painted them for people. Later, he worked hard in mustard garden painting manual. He is also diligent in sketching and has acquired solid basic skills. He was influenced by Miao Jiahui in his youth. As an adult, he traveled between Chu, Shu, Chu, Yan, Zhao, Wu and Yue. He lived in Zhejiang for more than 30 years. He made a living by painting, but he was indifferent to fame and wealth for decades. After middle age, he was good at fine brushwork figures, landscapes, feathers and flowers, and was known as Shi Danqing, with a great reputation. There are a large number of posthumous works, and some of them are handed down in Heqing. In 1930, Langyou returned to the province and was invited to the Heyun guild hall in Baoshan by his fellow villagers. At that time, the owner of Fuchun hengshao, Jiang Yangyu, admired his talents and wanted to be employed as Mr. fuqingdian and teacher to teach his descendants. Shi Yun felt that he was old and had been away from home for decades. He missed his relatives in his hometown. In addition, Chiang's sincere invitation made him agree. Unfortunately, he got sick on the way back home. After treatment, he died in Fuqing shop of Xiaguan. He was 69 years old. He wrote a lot of works in his life, but most of them have been scattered. Now there are only one manuscript of Xiusheng maxim, one of zhuanfa origin, four of characters, landscapes, feathers and flowers, two of xiuzhuxuan's records (poems and essays) and one of xiuzhuxuan's collections.
