Debao County
Debao county belongs to Baise City, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of the people's Republic of China. It is located in the southwest of Guangxi, between east longitude 106 ° 09 ′ - 106 ° 59 ′, and north latitude 23 ° 01 ′ - 23 ° 39 ′, belonging to the south subtropical region. Debao county is 129 kilometers away from Baise City and 275 kilometers away from Nanning, the capital city. In 2009, Debao County won the title of "the most attractive city for investment in Western China". In 2010, Debao County won the title of "China's top ten ecological leisure cultural tourism county". In October 2017, it was named National Garden County by the Ministry of housing and urban rural development.
On September 25, 2018, it won the honorary title of "2018 e-commerce into rural comprehensive demonstration county" of the Ministry of Commerce.
In March 2019, it was selected into the list of the first batch of revolutionary cultural relics protection and utilization areas and counties. In November 2019, it will be selected as the second batch of counties (districts) that meet the water-saving society construction standards. On May 9, 2020, it was approved by the people's Government of Guangxi Autonomous Region to withdraw from the sequence of poverty-stricken counties.
Evolution of organizational system
Debao county belongs to Xiang County in the Qin Dynasty, to Juting County in the Han Dynasty, to Xinggu County in the Jin Dynasty, to jiulengzhou in the Tang Dynasty, and to Antang in the Song Dynasty.
From the Yuan Dynasty to the 18th year of the Yuan Dynasty (1281 AD), zhenanzhou was built in October, and it was changed to zhenanlu in June of the 29th year.
In the first year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1368 AD), Zhen'an road was changed into Zhen'an tufu, which was located in gantuoyan of Anting (now Napo County). The next year (1369 AD), the government was transferred to the abandoned frozen state (now Debao county).
In 1663 ad, the second year of Kangxi reign of the Qing Dynasty, it was changed into Zhen'an Prefecture. In the fourth year of Qianlong (1739), Fukuo county was added to Zhen'an Prefecture, which was called Tianbao county.
Xuantong three years of the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1911), the house abandoned the county.
In the first year of the Republic of China (1912 AD), Tianbao county was restored, and the system of Taoism was restored.
In 1919, Guangxi Province was divided into 12 districts, and Tianbao county was the 12th district.
In June 1921, there were 12 districts and 6 districts in the whole province. Tianbao county was the Sixth District, and the district was in Baise.
In the 11th year of the Republic of China (1922 AD), Tianbao mintuan district was set up in July. Tianbao county was under the jurisdiction of Tianbao, Enlong, Silin, Fengyi, Xiangdu, Jingxi, Zhenbian and Zhenjie.
In March 1923, the mintuan district was changed into an administrative supervision district, and the counties under its jurisdiction remained unchanged. In the same year, 12 townships were allocated, including Dongling, Renhe, tangri, Fuping, Laide and Baoning townships in Enyang County, Quyang, Taihe and kuiwu townships in Jingxi County, and Duojing, linghuai and Duolang townships in Tianbao county.
In 1924, Jingde County was set up at the border of Jingxi, Tianbao, Enyang and Baise, which is under the administrative supervision of Tianbao.
In December 1949, Jingde and Tianbao counties were liberated one after another, and people's governments were established respectively, both of which belong to Longzhou special district.
In July 1951, it was transferred to Baise district. In August of the same year, Jingde and Tianbao merged into Debao County, which was governed by the former Tianbao county.
In 1952, it governed 12 districts and 200 townships. In 1954, it had jurisdiction over 12 districts, 1 town and 179 townships. In 1957, it had jurisdiction over 12 districts, 1 town and 177 townships. In 1958, it governed 10 communes. In 1964, it had jurisdiction over 11 districts, 1 town and 160 communes. In 1982, it had jurisdiction over one town and 11 communes. In 1984, it had jurisdiction over 3 towns and 13 townships. In 1994, it had jurisdiction over 3 towns and 15 townships.
In 1996, Debao County covers an area of 2559 square kilometers and has a population of about 342000. It has jurisdiction over 3 towns and 15 townships: Chengguan Town, longsang Town, Jingde town, Dongguan Township, Du'an Township, maai Township, gushou Township, Najia Township, Zurong Township, Ronghua Township, Xingwang Township, Yandong Township, Longguang Township, Dawang Township, Batou Township, Fuping Township, Dongling Township and Puwei township. The county government is located in Chengguan town.
According to the fifth census in 2000, the total population of Debao county is 276335. In 2003, Zurong township was changed from township to town. After the adjustment, Debao County governs 4 towns and 14 townships: Chengguan Town, longsang Town, Jingde town, Zurong Town, Dongguan town, Du'an Town, maai Town, gushou Town, Najia Town, Ronghua Town, Xingwang Town, Yandong Town, Longguang Town, Dawang Town, Batou Town, Fuping Town, Dongling town and Puwei town.
On June 21, 2005, the government of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZH No. 176) agreed to adjust the administrative divisions of some towns in Debao County: abolish Dongguan Township, merge the whole system into Chengguan Town, and the government residence of Chengguan town remains unchanged; abolish gushou Township, merge the whole system into maai Township, and the government residence of maai Township remains unchanged; abolish Xingwang Township, merge the whole system into Yandong Township, and the government residence of Yandong Township remains unchanged; abolish Fuping Township, the whole system into Jingde town, Jingde town government resident unchanged; repeal Dawang Township, the whole system into Longguang Township, Longguang township government resident unchanged; repeal Puwei Township, the whole system into Dongling Township, Dongling township government resident unchanged. On October 26, 2007, ma'ai township was officially withdrawn to build a town (ma'ai Town, located in the north of Debao County, is the site of Huayin Aluminum Plant in Guangxi. The whole town has 21 administrative villages with a total population of 39033 and a total area of 203.43 square kilometers). After the adjustment, Debao County governs 5 towns and 7 townships: Chengguan Town, longsang Town, Jingde town, Zurong Town, maai Town, Du'an Township, Najia Township, Ronghua Township, Yandong Township, Longguang Township, Batou Township and Dongling township.

The highest peak in the county is Huanglian mountain, with an altitude of 1616 meters, followed by hongnipo, with an altitude of 1218 meters.
