Xu Changtu (around 965 A.D.) was born in Yanshou, Chengxiang District, Putian City. He was a native of Puyang. The date of birth and death and the name of the title are unknown. It was around the middle of the year of Qiande, Emperor Taizu of the Song Dynasty. Xu Yin's great grandson and his elder brother Xu Changsi had a talent name. At the end of the Five Dynasties, Chen Hongjin, an official of Fujian Province, returned to the Song Dynasty at the beginning of the Ming Dynasty, and Chen sent him to the Song Dynasty as a tribute. Taizu stayed in Bianjing and ordered him to be a doctor of Guozi and moved to Zhongcheng. Changtu is good at composing Ci, and his style is meaningful and beautiful. He is famous in the CI circle of the Five Dynasties, which enlightens the CI style of the Northern Song Dynasty. He must be mentioned when modern people choose Ci and study the history of song literature. There are only three poems left, which are included in volume 898 of the whole Tang poetry and Zunqian collection
