Li Tingfang was an educator from Songyang in the Republic of China

Li Tingfang (1885.10.24-1944.01.26): Guangfu (Xiexian), Tingfang and Chunjing. He is from houxiao village, Zhangxi country, Songyang County, Zhejiang Province. He was born on September 17 of the reign of Emperor Guangxu, and finally on the second day of the first month of the reign of emperor Jiashen of the Republic of China. Guangxu gengzi year (1900) 16-year-old scholar, ranked first in Songyang County, Chuzhou second. In 1913, Zhangcun school, the fourth primary school in Songyang County, was founded. He served as the first principal and Chinese teacher of Zhangcun school (now: Zhangxi Township Central Primary School); in 1914, the first academic affairs committee of the county was established, and he served as the chairman of eight districts; in 1926, Songyang junior high school was founded, and then he served as the dean and Chinese teacher (now: Songyang No President, finance director, etc.

The inscription on the tomb was inscribed by Mr. Wu Chaomian, a famous calligrapher in China, in Chian, Songyang, Zhejiang Province, with the inscription "Li Tingfang, a famous Confucianist of a generation, inscribed by Wu Chaomian". many of Li Tingfang's children and grandchildren are engaged in education, and they are local education families. His son Li Ren teaches in Zhangcun school. Li Lun is the principal of Guanyi primary school and a teacher of Guzhong primary school. Li Xin, Li Zhong, Li Rong, Li Dan, Li Kewen and Li Yiwen are all senior teachers. Great grandchildren Li Zhengyu, Li Zhengzhou, Li Zhenghuan, senior teacher and associate professor of middle school, engaged in education. Now xiahouxiao village is a famous educational and cultural village in Songyang county.
