Ding Tai (1784-1830) was born in Pinghu, Zhejiang Province.
Jiaqing 22 years (1817) Jinshi, calendar official cabinet letter. The resident officials are pure and self-sustaining, not powerful. My Uncle Xu maocai taught me. He is intelligent, well read and has a good eye. Gongshi, Guwen, pianti and Zawen are all well versed in classics, especially in the study of classics. After passing through the country, he liked to lure the backward, so he was popular with tourists. He made friends with Zhang Jinyong in Tongyi, tasted Zhishu and discussed parallel prose, and was also a collection of poems with the title of "knowing the way, being ashamed of the old horse, daring to say the first whip". The body is barren and weak, and he is ill all the year round. He is the author of four volumes of xiangalu poetry anthology, one volume of galU notes and essays on rites. His life and deeds can be found in Pinghu county annals, Volume 28 of two zhejiangxuan sequel by Pan Yantong, and collection of poems in late Qing Dynasty.
