He Jiaqi (1843 ~ 1905), a writer. Word Yin autumn, the number of days root, also called days root son. He was born in Fengqiu, Henan Province. Guangxu first year (1875) Ju Ren, official Luoyang County Jiaoyu, moved Ru Ning Fu professor.
He Jiaqi, who did not study Tongcheng grammar, criticized the later Tongcheng school. He took "profound meaning of words, strange changes of narration and indoctrination of context" as his "three methods" of writing. Prose is good at depicting characters, good at white description, concise language, and like textual research on inscriptions. Most of the poems are about the state affairs, but they are satirical in reality.
He Jiaqi's works include Tiangen Wenchao, xuchao and Tiangen Shichao.
Life of the characters
He Jiaqi, a cultural celebrity in the late Qing Dynasty, was named Tiangen. In the first year of Guangxu (1875), he took the third place in Henan provincial examination. He was the author of the regulations for lecturing, the rules of the society for preaching, Tiangen Wenchao, Tiangen Shichao, etc.
He was originally from Fengqiu, Henan Province, and was magistrate of donga, Huangxian and other places by his father, so he stayed in Jinan. Later, he Jiazhen, his younger brother, was appointed as the official historian of Laiyang, where he lived. In 1875, Henan provincial examination was held in the first year of Guangxu period. After that, he failed in the provincial examination, so he changed his teaching position. Guangxu seven years (1881) as Luoyang Jiaoyu, Guangxu 24 years moved to Ru Ning Fu Professor; died in Ren.
Main works
During Ru Ning's term of office, it was carved into eight volumes. After his death, Wang Xun, the academic administrator of Henan Province, had an old relationship with him and attached great importance to editing, so he wrote this book. Since the author grew up in Shandong, the book records a lot of historical events in the Xiantong period, which provides a lot of valuable information for the study of modern history of Shandong.
For example, the article "Ji Huang Ya Yu" systematically describes the general process of Huang Ya case. After liberation, it was included in the first volume of Shandong modern history materials (Shandong people's publishing house, 1957) compiled by Jinan Branch of China history society; the anecdote of Yang Jun, magistrate of Jinxiang County, recorded in detail the battle of the northern expedition of the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom to capture Jinxiang; His father he weidian (1819-1855) took part in the activities of defending and blocking the Northern Expedition during his term of office in Dong'e County in 1854.
Other articles, such as the biography of Taoist Zhang in Volume 2, the tombstone of Mr. Zhang in Mianchi in volume 3, and the tomb list of quanjun, the magistrate of Shandong Province, are of high historical value. In the 1950s, they were also selected into Volume 6 of niejun, a series of materials on modern Chinese history, compiled by China History Society (published by Shanghai Shenzhou Guoguang society in 1953). In 1907, the printed version was handed down.
