Zhang Caian (1904-1991), named Jianbai, was born in Zini village, Shawan. He graduated from Guangdong University in his early years. He teaches in Gengshu middle school, Zhongyuan middle school, Hong Kong and Macao. After the victory of the Anti Japanese War, he returned to his hometown to be the principal of Zini primary school. In the early 1950s, he moved to Guangzhou and worked as a proofreader in a printing factory. Zhang Xiang, a famous poet in southern Guangdong, has been engaged in the research and creation of poetry for a long time.
Personal profile
When he was young, Zhang tsai'an was a brilliant scholar. He was especially willing to study ancient prose and poetry. When he was young, he had published a collection of waiting for burning. He is quick witted and lyric. His poems are pure and elegant, and are popular in Tang Dynasty and Song Dynasty. He is catchy and has a unique style, which is called "Cailv". After the fall of Guangzhou, Zhang stayed in Hong Kong and often sang with cultural celebrities. His ode to Bai Yan is well-known overseas and has the reputation of "Zhang Bai Yan". Liu Yazi wrote four poems in his six chapters of the autumn swallow, which was famous for his concern for the country and the people. Zhang also wrote a lot of Anti Japanese Poems with high morale, such as "under the skull lamp, like a rainbow sword, how many Japanese heads are there?" after the founding of new China, Zhang witnessed the rapid development and prosperity of the motherland, and advocated that poetry "should spread fragrance with the times.". When the hydrogen bomb test was successful and the satellite was launched into the sky, he wrote a poem enthusiastically praising: "the uranium flower outside the great wall depends on heavy water, and xianle ferry flies across the clouds." Zhang, together with Liu Yisheng, Xu Xu, Mo Zhongyu, and Chen Yongzheng, has published the notes of five schools of poetry in Lingnan. Zhang also co wrote Nanya, selected poems from Beijing and Guangdong, poetry notes from meiyuelou, and poems by Chunshu family. He also excels in traditional Chinese opera, creating Sima tiqiao, which is very popular. The disciples include Zhou Yanting (xiaomeichuang), etc.

After the "Cultural Revolution", Zhang Caian was the president of Guangzhou Liyuan poetry society, the deputy director of Liwan CPPCC poetry and calligraphy studio, the member of Liwan Cultural Federation, the executive director of Guangdong Branch of Chinese poetry society, the vice president of Guangdong couplet society, the vice president of Guangzhou Poetry Society and the Consultant of wengshan poetry society. He died in Guangzhou on October 26, 1991.
