He Menglun was a Jinshi of Xin Chou in Jiajing of Ming Dynasty.
He Menglun (whose date of birth and death is unknown) was a Jinshi of Xin Chou in Jiajing of Ming Dynasty. He was appointed magistrate of Cixi County at the beginning, but he was changed to magistrate of Jianning county because of offending the powerful. During his tenure in Jianning, he repaired the city, built bridges, built troops in the Qing Dynasty, provided grain, set up school fields, and advised farmers and scholars. There was no lawsuit in the court and no secret of officials. He built the ancestral temple of famous officials to encourage the discipline of the people. He led panchi to the west to prevent fire. He changed his patrol to important places to guard against bandits. Jianning county annals compiled by him is the earliest existing county annals of Jianning. During his three years in office, the custom of Yiyi changed greatly. Later, he was promoted to be the principal.
