Zhang Li
Zhang Li, born in Tianjin in 1925, is a theoretical physicist. He graduated from Furen University in 1946. In 1956, he received an associate doctor of Mathematical Science from Leningrad University of the Soviet Union.
At present, he is a professor of advanced research center of Tsinghua University, a teacher of advanced quantum mechanics for undergraduates and a teacher of frontier issues of quantum mechanics for Postgraduates in Tsinghua University.

In 1949, he gave up the chance of free postgraduate study at Cornell University, and returned to the liberated areas. In the same year, he joined the Communist Party of China.

As of 2018, Mr. Zhang Li, who has been teaching for 71 years, still insists on lecturing at the age of 93. "It's very gratifying that many of the students who have been taught for so many years have become backbones in various posts in the country. That's the meaning of my life," he said

Main research
Engaged in theoretical particle physics and quantum mechanics. In the electronic system, the positron localization and annihilation problems, high energy proton collisions, quantum chromodynamics correction of meson shape, QCD correction of two-photon process, Bose Einstein condensation, etc.
